FIRST REMIX OF THIS SONG AND IT'S AN ABSOLUTE BANGER 🔥
Seriously underrated song and this remix is more than deserved
thank you!!! tbh yeah it's slept on lol
this isn't gonna be anything but i felt inclined to play with layers. pedals used are electro harmonix's tone corset compressor and their ram's head big muff fuzz, with an MXR reverb at the end.
if you ever buy a pedal, the electro harmonix big muff fuzzes are top notch
took a bit out of starcaster's book and actually bothered to put effects over the guitar in this, but i also put them over the pianos because i liked the way it sounded
(might be loud??? idk if my preference for loud music came in too overbearing on this)
the propaganda must be spread
audio actually starts 40 seconds in
fucking lovely
This is the Preset Demo tune from the GAISIO CY-Tone V72 Synthesizer 2025
Original composition: Noriyuki Awadare - Starlit Journey (Kirby Air Riders) (singer: MJ Cube (English))
With the VL-Tone soundfont in hand, I create this!
Part of the upcoming RE:CYON of Gaia Episode RGB, soon to be named "DENSETSU_RGB: Continue This Legend Anew", a spinoff of RE:CYON of Gaia featuring a crossover between VTuber idol group Densetsu.EXE (Mint Fantome/Phoebe Chan/Victoria Roman), Super Mario, Kirby and DELTARUNE.
The Roaring Knight, a main antagonist in DELTARUNE, was "pulled from ...
this is my first proper day off in a while and i don't know what else to do, so here's some layering nonsense
a slight cover of jimmy eat world's cover of guided by voices' game of pricks (lol). the lead parts (the high E spam at the start and vocal melody) are centered, the rhythm parts are panned left and right by 70%. the right ear is the bridge pickup (switched to parallel mode), the left ear will hear the neck pickup. no post EQ is done, just adjusted volumes.
yyyeeAAA I love hearing everything come together here
probably botched it
I made a Hyper Zone 2 remake (along with a piano sketch)
Where were u wen club penguin die
i haven't properly played my bass in fucking forever
this is that song from trauma center 2. i recorded it through my guitar amp so the tone is kinda shit but the bassline is amazing. and i've wanted to learn it for five years so i did. bone stock ibanez GSR200 into my boss katana 50
ougUOOGUUGGHHH
THAT’S MAD GROOVY
i had no idea the bassline was that varied?????? I love this...
[felt like recreating that one part of the galarian bird theme from pokemon swsh cause it rocks]
THIS GUY GETS IT 🔥 🔥 🔥
HELL YEAH we love groovy bass in this house
MORE GROOVY BASS
guess who just found out how to generate and edit chiptune sounds with Audacity and nothing else
my friend told me that someone once made a cover of Black Knife with no soundfont available so I wanted to do a similar thing, except without even a proper music making studio lol
oo coolio
idk if I'll ever make a full cover tbh but I'll be sure to do what I can lol
I did a music.
Long time ago we had a game jam in Coding, and we made a board game but I went a bit overboard and added tons of software features to the digital side, including a theme.
Wait why can I not do attachments
The frick?
Read #important-information
Thanks!
Here it is :P
It’s on Spotify too as well as my other singles :)

old fm synth thing
sheesh havent posted something in here for a while... enjoy!!
peak….it’s like sky sands at night
SKY SANDSSSSS

KORG M1 (le)
YOOOO KORG???
very nice retro sounds, ive used some of their demo vsts
always liked this swanky rendition of the entrance theme
wip of a boss theme thing
working on a cover of the johto region trainer theme
this is an actual vibe... i love that sorta piano
Wait these go hard
I can definitely see the “Kirbo type beat” one being a remix of an unused Kirby 64 song /very pos
Finally somebody who talks about Kirbo 2
beginner's room my beloved 💖
hope that starter from yesterday got you prepared for the main course! gourmet race medley time!!! BUT... its nice for a cafe... enjoy~

Sounds like a practice version of gourmet race
ahhh thank youuu!! :))
Np
made a minor fix up to corn hall's audio and added an actual ending... NOW enjoy!!
sdfddffgdf aaaaa thank youuu!!!! :DDD
i think its too much
It's not bad just lil overwhelming
oh yeah i finished(?) this thing months back? probably more i can add to it but idk
i love the chords here???? the hazy sounding chiptune adds to the vibes
its a bit muddy sounding but i like how much it reminds me of Mr. Gimmick! on the Famicom
i pretty much NEVER play acoustic lol, but when i first started on guitar my dad generously let me have his as my own. so might as well start using it. this is an alternate version of for me this is heaven by jimmy eat world, i think jim adkins plays it like this solo.
this is a test to see what it sounds like mic'd up. it's a yamaha F325 with a shure SM-58 about half an inch from the center of the soundhole.
Fym you never play acoustic and drop this this is heavenly (pun intended)
thank you! you're too kind
there are so many heavenly pieces here i wish this channel was more popular 😭 they're all great
ooooohohhhhh this is soothing????? amazing work!!
Fr, I've been lurking
Hope I can contribute soon
i should make another song…
it’s been too long
gumi cooking? this shit bout to be peak
thank you!!
.uh guys.... I made songs too um anyone like..... Care?
gumi cooking? this shit bout to be peak
i thought the choice to add orchestral instruments was pretty fire icy
Thanks!I literally searched up the instruments that were used in Forgotten land (because "A trip to the mall" Should I say more?)and said yes
same vsts???
i quite like your track though, huge fan of whatever progression that is (i cant tell most notes in music) and the strings complement it well!!
(same, I just wing it
)
I'm actually making a Kirby fan game rn
i usually just use whatever sticks to the wall
So do you use only samples too!
no, i use a variety of synthesizers and the occasional sampler if its necessary
Oh...... Ok........ Samples am I right?
example
This is like a hard mode metalic madness song
i also can play piano, though i usually do so by just using one of my synthesizers (another example)
I can't even play piano,impressive
i usually prefer having hard, scraping edges to my sound, i grew up with Metropolis Zone and Mega Drive music and it permanently affected my taste in sound
…though im not afraid to incorporate the odd (self sampled) guitar here and there, even if i do prefer making them from scratch
can definitely hear that you grew up in a more edm centric era than i did haha
Yeah I'm more of a breakcore, happy,Sonic yeah to some it up I grew up with Sonic
I definitely see the Genesis inspiration, unfortunately there isn't a mega drive sample pack in Bandlab
Self sampling is fun
the best song.
would recommend holding back a bit on the reverb, its kinda making all the lovely instrument choices clash and muddy each other
otherwise this is great
desert stage my beloved
This song is melted into my mind because I spent like 20 minutes figuring out all the puzzles in my first playthrough
It's still go tho
thx! was a bit of an older one i felt like sharing tbh haha
still gonna consider this for future projects
fun fact: i can do SOUNDFONT magic too!!! got a compilation of some of my lovely takes on kirby music but in my beloved DL3 soundfont,,,
Ooh, interesting choices! I hear influence from the KPR ver too c:
Also fellow Kirby soundfont remixer ooh
KSQ songs sound on point! I love KDL2 Grass Land too (rather most of the songs honestly) and this version is awesome
I've been wondering if we can post YT links in here for a bit and it looks like a yes apparently!
Here's what I somehow managed to manifest yesterday
https://youtu.be/CUEpjFxiL7Q
also glockenspiel
dude I made this so I could give it a funny name but it immediately just turned out so nice for some reason
(moved the key 3 half steps down, BPM from 163 to 104)
not nearly as lovely as the version in Return to Dream Land but for those of us who have been listening to it for 10 (or more) years a new variation is neat to hear
Hmm, I've also got a mini album here that I finished recently. I worked,,,very hard on it fjfjf
https://youtu.be/deMmnfb2nD4
Consider this my Christmas gift to everyone listening.
I plan to do this entire soundtrack too because I love it, but I'll take a break for a while.
If you'd like to take any of the individual tracks with you, they're available for mp3 download here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16i3FKTue0KC6bOEePnp8ef_nMj-TRNhU
Also, some songs share ...
the ending to pass the baby by jimmy eat- i've played their shit so many times it's obvious
i put one of my starcasters back together so i just wanted to rec something. i've never had feedback problems when recording straight into an interface, but stacking my distortion and overdrive had the guitar squealing so that was annoying lol
AYYYYYY thank ya!!!!! ;DDD
How do you come up with song titles
DAAAMN HOW??? you’re killing it here???????
also, i genuinely really like the controlled chaos vibe you're going for here. this has a pretty jazzy sound to it which I'm a sucker for
ill post something but i wanna wait for people to listen to the stuff here
Thank you!!! I wanted to try something a bit faster, and I'm glad it was fine for a first attempt at music again this year!
(Also yes, Jazzy)
please keep at it, i must take notes
Hearing this from you makes me feel honored
😭
Legitimately you were one of the reasons I wanted to go back to it—
(I was lurking here)
that, in turn, makes me feel honored
Ooo, and I can't wait to see what you post next!
bet, and sorry to flood chat lmao
No you're good loool
I.feel.peace
This is nice,I like it
happy sounding theme. been working on this since last month, hopefully its done and mixed okay lol
AND PLEASE LISTEN TO THE TRACKS ABOVE ME THEY’RE ALL VERY GOOD
god this is so good 😭
This is amazing,Official sounding,.This is better than ANYTHING I'm doing.I need to take notes
✋ 😶 ✋ 🔥
That fast percussion mixed with those strings in the back sound so heavenly with the synth—
Actual Banger
You and me both
Agreed.When do we start?
Anytime, Anytime
𝘕𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮,𝘕𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮
Thank you all!!!! That really means a lot
. Both of you’s compositions are really really good!!! Don’t put yourselves down!!!
So me using samples only is like actually good?
Not the songs, just the sample part
Tbh I dunno if there’s a “good” or “bad” to how music is made. I’ve heard a lotta nice music made from samples (Fantastic Plastic Machine - Different Colors)
I'll take it
My main issue is proper mixing so I felt when you asked if it was alright, (I made the drums too loud when I was finalizing it and other parts could've been more balanced but I'll continue to do more)
Your mixing was solid
I was rewinding my thing so much times with my headphones to see if it sounded right aha
I just wanted to break the curse of starting a track and not finishing it lol
Well at least you're using notes
Literally same to both things lmao
Yeah, what I do when I'm stumped is I hum a melody for a section, record it, and try to emulate it note wise since I don't know all the fancy music stuff
And also listening to favorite composers help a lot
Omg why the hell haven't I tried that
Who made A trip to the mall in Kirby in the forgotten land?
That’s true. I think I end up humming it really off pitch and get confused later lmao
Hirokazu Ando
Yea Ando
YEAH LOL
It's a decent work around, we just need to adjust how it sounds when editing the song
Ill be right back
i need to actually make something i havent done that yet this year
I don't think it's the worst, it's just
The strings tempo don't match with the piano
So if the strings were slower
I think it'd work out!
Yeah I'm not the notes guy I'm the sample guy
It's okay you can do it, trust me
Despite the song I made
I don't know the proper names for everything
Maybe with a lil more work but it's literally 2AM rn
time to open fl and see if anything sticks
HECK I just think, "High Note! Low Note! 3 time signature!" And that's it hehe
And obviously it's flawed, but I'll do better next time!
I say "maybe it's this note"but I have no clue what I'm talking about
Imagine having Fl studio not mobile
I don't even know the notes besides when it says it to me "C, A" Something
I just love listening to music and that kind of makes me go for something since I over analyze the parts in my favorites to see why I like them
This person doesn't know music theory
So I'm not the only one hehe
i seldom know music theory its hard for me to get lol. kinda limiting at times
MatPat made a theory about Music?
I know certain rhythms
So I guess that helps
Like if I were to use a bongo in a track it'd do the "dun dun, da"
If it makes you feel better I have a few unfinished stuff from a while ago and that track I posted today was made in a total of 4-5ish days
New Year made me wanna not procrastinate
Oh...... It only takes a couple of hours for me
If it makes you feel better,Samples.
Buuuut at the same time, it's samples. There might not be the right thing you're looking for
it takes me months most of the time and i never finish most my stuff
Woaaah, that's relatable
A lot of the reasoning why I take so long because I either loathe how it starts off (which I shouldn't since you can arrange it along as you go) or just "what do I do hereeee....."
felt,,
As you just posted that I'm working on a new song
I think what can help is having a theme!
I think my next vibe I wanna go for is a more laid back approach since a lot of my stuff was normally faster—
Maybe go with a Nintendo shop vibe or something
So nothing?
Well, that's I'm thinking of trying haha
But if you don't have an idea, maybe listening to music can help
all very true
friend gifted me producer edition last year randomly in the middle of the year
i get by without all the fancy bits and bobs of the big $500 edition
thing im working on is probably gonna turn out a bit more crunchy and gravelly than usual bc ive been listening to a lot of the album Memento Mori by Depeche Mode recently
i know garageband is free on mobile if you wanna try it. but on laptop a neat free DAW is LMMS. i started off with it. it's limited in some areas, but for 90% of things it's usable
yeah id also recommend LMMS
Cakewalk is owned by Bandlab and its a mild nightmare to get used to but its also somewhat meant for beginners
ive heard tons about cakewalk yeaa
Imagine having friends
I can't listen to the stuff sent in here yet but I see LMMS... LMMS gang rise up
I didn't have a working PC for two years but when I got one working again a few months ago I found LMMS had somehow implemented an insanely good project recovery?
I lose literally nothing, even changes I made 20s before it crashed. I just open the project back up and pick up where I was when it crashed
Lego marvel Maker Stuff?
Last Man Man Standing?
LMMS is just meant to sound like "elements"
Luke's Manly Made Seashells?
Oooooohhh thought it was an abbreviation
same lol until today
Oh I didn't know that, interesting!
Yeah I don't remember what/if it's short for actually it's just been my best music buddy for 6 years
same up until late last year
So your saying it MIGHT be Luke's Manly Made seashells
I've started to produce CD quality stuff I'll try to sell at art fairs soon so I may stay with LMMS forever at this point, idk what more I need
Here I made a terrible song,Laugh at it!
(srsly tho if you like something you made a lot, take note of it! You made a good decision and you can keep it in mind for future projects)
Don't worry about me,only kidding.Just tryna stay humble
took an old project and finished it
Chill I love it
Oh yeah btw since I'm working on a Kirby game which Worlds would these songs fit in?
okay this SHOULD be final. adjusted based on feedback
(and again, please listen to all the tracks above me, there's some peak stuff here)
So it's more Peak, and that breakdown tho
Jamming to peak again
THATS WHAT I'M SAYING MAN
Leave some perfection for us
ah, someone told me to slow it down and i also thought i should make the bass a lil apparent is all
but thank you!
Ohhh, yeah, I was gonna say I felt exactly what you said was changed!
No,thank you for blessing us with this mastapiece
I was like, "Hmmm, I can hear more bass"
I was just like"Hey this sounds a lil different "
I like the complex melodies in the back, gives me DS Era Pokémon vibes as well—
Also that breakdown tho
𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵
most messages here i've seen in a day it makes my heart melt
Trueeee
I genuinely thought these were original songs
so much float islands….so much peak…
I love Float Islands too 🏝
this is from 2022. dedede gives kirby a crossword puzzle instead of clobbering him
I love me a good Dedede theme remix and this one goes super hard
featuring dedede beatboxing the only time ive ever used the DJ preset in one of my many soundfonts i am in possession of!
I can see this in a 2000s Kirby gba puzzle game
I like doing semi-faithful transcripts and studies cause wdym this is all inside one part of Green Winds Remix
With some work there's a banger
God I love the shakuhachi preset it’s so charming lol
Oh and this isn’t my track I’m just dissecting Green Winds Remix from return to Dream Land deluxe
Exactly
ooooooõooo so snazzy
You're just remaking a banger
Ohhh I getcha my bad
Dissecting a very complex track, it's always fun seeing your transcribed tracks (sounds nice too!)
you have wonderful ears mr. mad
it takes a lot to reverse engineer and figure out individual recordings and tracks
Thank you!!!!! It involved a lotta slowing down and I’m still positive I missed the lower notes or the ones obscured inside chords
But I’m happy with the results thus far
not me listening to this song on loop yesterday and i’m just now seeing this, how peak
it’s actually insane how much detail is put into Green Winds, between the synths, the countermelodies and the guitar (peak)
Ando just Ando-ing all over the place
The percussion is so good too…
i sure love me some fat heavy drums
christ
I thought it was a Genesis song for a sec
lol I can hear it in the synth brass
But then I heard the modern Kirby thing then I was like oooooh
amazing how accurate this is
lowkey tho i need Ando to slide me whatever snare sample he was using for this song
it (literally) goes hard
that and that one cymbal he uses. its like PASSSHt
Question:Which song is this?
green winds remix from return to dream land deluxe
Aight
without the synth and guitar leads, just for you all to see how rich and layered ando's stuff is lmao
Ok I smell the complexity in the music
Ando is so good at creating full sounds when it comes to chords
it’s usually obvious when you listen to his songs that have heavy piano in them
TRUE
You're gonna have all the remixing power by getting all the notes 😭
And also, no one mentioned this, but you managed to get his drum pattern right, it's easier to hear here
The timpani/drum crashes
I don't know how to describe it but he does that a lot
And this sounds so good
YEAH LOL
bro
speaking of that
yesterday i went on a crazy escapade to document a good chunk of the songs where he uses those toms
idk if i should post them here tho
Probably like most of his modern stuff lmao
These are all absolutely incredible
Thanks for reminding me of the bridge one
and blizzard bridge is just
FL 😭
I love these
ascending
I'm using it as inspiration for samples
I love how Elfilis' first phase takes cues from that track as well
the one for blizzard bridge is actually insane because he’s just spamming the toms all throughout that song 😭 😭 😭
same with green winds
I love when composers just plagiarize themselves 😭
I mean this as well like if you heard them work in a different series
They do their "thing"
And I'm like this is just "series I'm used to" 😭
True true true
very much true and real
ishikawa has his own thing that i’ve noticed
where he does this really specific melodic progression
hold up gotta get the songs and timestamp them
Ohhhh yeaa
I'm thinking of Vs Yin Yarn for some reason
Literally just screams him 😭
And feels like previous songs
Reminds me a lot of Kirby 64
funny synth bass go nyownyow
And he's using the Squeak Squad era horns
I love canvas curse ost because it has that metal pipe falling sfx type percussion
You mean like the meme LOL
Yes
ok i got three examples
Yeah, I see what you mean

How did I not notice this lmao
i only just recently realized it a couple months ago
Actually insane
i’m too much of an ishikawahead
it’s definitely in way more songs, i have a whole playlist of it actually BUT UNFORTUNATELY A GOOD CHUNK OF SONGS FROM IT ARE DELETED
rip valternate

You know what I wish I could see
Their working process
Out of curiosity
Do they start with the melody first or drum rhythm
right like
And etc, stuff like that!
i wanna see their workflow
I'm so inconsisent
it’d just be cool to get an idea of how they operate
So I end up doing last minute changes after randomly doing something up
same same 😭
I literally had a song once where I did the drums last—
It worked out in my favor since I got to make it flow more realistically
So something like that would be cool to see for me
SAME
I already know (on the topic for Kirby composer example) Ishikawa and Ando don't intend on it being played perfectly live lol
I don’t know mine either lol, let alone on the ones where I actually finish the track
Yea that’s right
i noticed that i definitely took after ishikawa because i started using a similar progression in some of my own compositions
Yeah, my unfinished stuff rots for months because it's moreso "at the time I tried" but didn't have a plan 😭
I feel you lol, it’s blursed when my influences sneak into my thought process, cause yay I can achieve a similar sound but also nooo my style is less unique
You know this gives me an idea, maybe trying a vibe of something would make the processing bit help a little bit lol
Like
"Beach Vibe"
Or Eshop Vibe or something random
YEAH this is actually the way
I’ve had the most success going with a rough theme prompt
lowkey this got me in the mood, think tomorrow i’m gonna try doin a house/jazz fusion type track
Omg that'd be coooool
Wow two of the best genres ever to exist
Make sure you get a synth and bass to go with the Brass
Oooh, and maybe Guitar—
I know Jazz Fusion likes Slap Bass
Maybe looking up the typical ensemble for a genre could help me too lol
Like when I use trumpets, I sometimes use a trombone in the back
And use the same notes but lower
It gives it more strength
always gotta worry about things like ghost notes or baby notes too
Yeah!
I wanna think of what vibe I wanna go for...
My last song was kinda fast
But I never tried really a "chill" bgm before
Oh yeah one thing that helps me is certain rhythms are common—
I obsessed over a lot of Latin Percussion rhythms because of Jazz so they're stuck in my brain
Which I believe is just Bongos/Conga
i think rhythm is the one thing i struggle with getting right, like trying to figure out hi-hat rhythm or just from the song itself
Drum beats are strange for me
I'm okay-ish? At regular ones—
But synth drums are hard for me
And the hi-hat part, felt
It's just trying to get a perfect timing aaaaaaugh
Hi hats took me so long to really learn lol
yeeeeah it’s rough
Guitar and Piano is so mid for me
I think I'm doomed to especially Guitar in composition since I have a Guitar I asked for in Elementary and never properly learned how to play it lol
So why should I be able to use it notewise!/lhj
Felt… still getting the hang of the electric guitar lol, there’s a lotta different things
It’s fun to use for short quick samples, even if I have to… edit every note so it’s timed okay
i’m mostly a piano guy but i don’t play it, i just know chords and program it (can’t believe i’m ando 🐤)
It'd be pain for me to make it the lead lol
I forgor all of piano

I learnt how to play simple stuff like Twinkle Twinkle little 🌟 back then—
Now, me noes no Piano!
Even digitally lol
Which is kind of a bummer since I wanna use them more
LITERALLY same
Haha, I'm such a casual xD
You can for sure too, trust me!
I love to draw/play and edit things, but the music hobby randomly became a thing I did for fun since I just loved hearing certain ones so much that I wanted to try myself
😭
And now I can't leave it lol
Done
same thing for me, to the last detail
Accidentally made the piano too loud lol
Volume Mixing is my rival it happens
Fixed the violin
This is quite literally the same exact process I had LMAO
LOOOOOOL REAL
This is REALLY good!! The samples you chose genuinely come together so well
Love the drum loops in particular
Yeaaaaah, the mixing I wanna improve at
Because I feel like I actively worsen my song if it's not correct Haha
mixing my unloved
Tell me about it,They're many scraped songs in my fell off era that were straight 🚮
For example
this wasn't the craziest part that I used the bass for my latest song used an Acoustic Bass, and you can hear at the end how it sounded in the final file with song
The other instruments I used imo (like the electric piano in the full song) could of been mixed better
I feel like the other instruments should be quieter lol
What the-how did you-(Super Mario world ahh bass)
Seriously it was a 3min audio file how did you do that?
Used one of those Bass the stringed one that kinda looks like a giant violin lol
And the release wasn't too long
Still can't change my mind on the SMW bass thing
So it has that "tap tap" vibe
I literally know exactly what you're talking about
delicious and tasty bass
Lol I need to go back and hear that track
I just re-listened to the Overworld theme from said game
Kinda sounds more like a tuba
thanks chat for reminding me i need to remix the ripple star theme
i think its working
(loud and probably sounds like an electric chair in your ears)
ripple star's bassline will never not please the part of my brain that's constantly quoting dracula flow lyrics
It's fine,just two awkward silences
thats where the drum solo goes thats in ripple star
YEAAAA I love the bass in ripple star so much…. So frantic and jazzy. Cool to hear it with a saw waveform
This one is quite nice, I dig the blues-sounding key(?) this is in… idk my keys but I like!
i think this is a really weird occasion where im actually tempted to draw cover art for one of my remixes
Feed into the temptation 🫡
Artists let's Art
(LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS, HASNT BEEN PROPERLY MIXED) man i love pushing a virtual DX7 to its actual complete limit
(all of those channels with a lower volume are lower because this song is loud and i really dont want to blow my eardrums out)
was raised on oscilloscopes so i cant go without them when working, i love seeing specifically what the wave of sound looks like
now presenting queen ripple, kept alive FAR past her expiration date by the Ripple Crystal and the most advanced cybernetics that we could find/make on Shiver Star!
(note: do NOT tell her she is nothing like her old self)
Hey look it's me!
i salvaged a few HAL labs songs from that channel
i read the ando composer chat
(ando music things ive noticed mood board)
big fan of his classic style
LOL wow he really does that little progression a lot
crazy how often it showed up in his classic works
oh no way

any mainline kirb games?
Green Greens (Nightmare in Dream Land ver) in the Super Star soundfont
No. just the non game stuff (TV channel guide)
It's really interesting hearing their styles in a non Kirby context
yeah that makes sense
i think the same thing frequently too, how their styles differ when it comes to other games
The Synth™ at the end🥹 🥹 🥹

The Minna no Joushiki Ryoku TV music at the end lol
ando chiptune kinda goes crazy
mannnn i love the old school toms and synth brass so much
Holy Slap Bass and Piano
😭
This could be someone's ringtone, very good transcribing yet again, you have an ear for Ando
I'm genuinely impressed with how consistent you've been with these LOL
Thank you lol, this is the only time I’ve ever been consistent (I guess it helps I’m doing these in bits)
Who needs music theory when you got Madhattrem knowledge/j
But not a joke I mean it
It's very impressive

You're gonna have to like, lend me your powers or something
/silly
No power! Just listening
🎧
the only earbuds that work with my phone add a buzzing sound to everything this is the first thing it's kinda worked for
But yeah really cool! The instruments picked are nicely dynamic to each other, I love the theoretical lore bit backing it up too
(Fun fact: I've used the ripped midi of this song and the drums got so much going on they had to split it between two channels)
(this is really cool!! It sounds like a unique version yet also like it'd be in the game)
REAL AAA bro I wish I could do this (I'm entirely reliant on ripped midis and fan transcriptions for stream format games...)
madhattrem is music theory
I WISH
the midi i made also splits the drums between two channels lmfao, thats how i accomplished the drumkit swap for the solo
(also yeah i really like writing lore for stuff even if its super inconsequential, i do writing in my extra time when im not working on music, gaming, or building a model)
Music is like a secondary hobby in comparison to making characters/stories for me
this sounds like casiopea if they decided to go heavy (it rocks)
gimme a sec
i like my theoretical queen ripple so i will now use her face as my identity until i get tired of it and go back to susie
i love my synthesizers too much to not use them
here have a free osc view since it'll probably be a while until this goes up as a youtube video
MORE ANDO THEORY LET’S GOOOOO 🐔 🐔

oscilloscope my beloved
🥹
had to stop because i struggle hardcore with heads and faces
(side note: this is garbage because i have permanent hand injuries in both hands)
if you want to take this idea and run off with it in your own direction/continue it, feel free to do so! just let me know what you end up doing
(posted here because its relevant to the audio file)
this is from 2022 and my only attempt at an ando style
this so good
this will severely impact the local property value
Sky Waltz customized a bit to be like a Bubbly Clouds alternate. MIDI from whimsicalshootingstar
(Two months in the Regina music box chamber leveled up my harmony writing/arranging, I also incorporated the piano into the harmony what I could)
I slowed it down (221 to 209) and extended the melody a bit but because I removed the pauses between the main melodies it's like the same length anyways
I try to change up the songs like they do in official remixes but I'm still not super good at that,,,better than nothing tho
here's my wip transcription of Steel Beat that I streamed earlier! lowered the lead melodies so you can hear how insane Ando's harmonies are cause what even lol
OHH i love how you made that one part lead with The Synth, and the key you chose is amazing!!!
Amazing, Ando's melodies tend to be very complex and you did a great job capturing the authenticity of Steel BEAT! 🙂↕️
(And the stream was great, I was glad that you were able to still focus LOL)
Thanks lol, pretty much nothing was in the way!
Of course!!
(I was able to fix the bass in my thing but I'll post it later fjfnf dies of cringe)
Oh wow, Real
(Also somehow not the first Kirby song to utilize the xylophone playing notes below its natural range. It gets a distinct sound when it does that)
Never noticed it shifts away from dissonance in the later bit of the song
But yeah bros jazz (training ... style ...? Can you have jazz training??) rlly showing through there
Oh it’s apparently a kalimba going off in the back! They’re very similar lol, I don’t blame you.
But yeah jazz training seems to be a thing and Ando is bursting with it
because I changed the structure of the song I had to re-paste the bass and percussion back "into place" and I did it wrong cuz I briefly forgot how to use math and memorization
It sounds like kalimba in yours but I initially thought xylophone for the official, analyzing it now tho it's oddly resonant for a xylophone there too
Ohhh, I think I get what you're saying, sorry in regards
I only know this cause the sound source for it was found and it’s a kalimba from the SampleTank vst I think (which I need to invest in some day)
Sound source, like the VST Ando used?
(I have always been the only digital music person in my circles so terminology kinda new to me. also I love it here)
the preset from it yeaaaa
I didn't know people were figuring out the Kirby VSTs bro,,,
I can pass you a sheet!
yes please aaaaaaaaa??
I notice when they get new vsts and my friends are just like "." (I felt like no one else cared maybe ever)
Lots of research is being done
Ooo I didn't know anyone else knew about this!
This was and is still a cool resource
Ando loves sampletank
I like how there's a lot of stuff under Ando
(And Jun next I think)
Also a neat fun fact
Those Vienna Symphonic Library
Samples have to be credited when used
So in albums like Kirby Café 2 you see it in the album credits lol
The Jazz one?
Anyways thanks so much for this
I wonder how they identify the samples, do they just, have the VST too or know its sound well enough even without owning it...
I mean all of them are jazzy but the 3rd disc is very jazzy yeah
It would be really funny if every VST required credits 😭
So whenever songs are not live recorded performance we get to know what tools they used
Yeah
dude I didn't know paid VSTs had as cheesy of names as the freebies
...well less cheesy
It's hard to beat darksichord bro
I actually had no idea LOL
probably having the vst. When you hear enough of certain presets, it’s easy to tell when it’s used in a track
Oh absolutely, I recognize VSTs I have but I also recognized the VSTs between Kirby games
(Sonatina harp in the Bug Fables OST finally doesn't hurt my brain anymore I also don't use it anymore tho)
who is....Sammy?
The voice of Neichel, popular singer over there
Where was this revealed?
I don’t recall but I know she’s shown up in the music fest in full Neichel garb and everything. Must be in the credits or somewhere else
Yeah, her face was hidden tho (impressively so jffjfj I drew her)
Neichel is in her wiki page too so huh yeah it was stated somewhere ig
WAHHH why do my devices never know how to display spreadsheets right, eating up what I can see tho
wow tho so many things I've thought about for years on my own,,,,
i think you'd actually do a huge service if you released the individual tracks in isolation cus some people go fucking insane for that kinda thing
and clearly these have been replicated pretty much to a T
Perhaps so,,,
or midis, like I rely on already existent ones to do anything but I'm mostly limited to retro titles (and someone did a ton of RtDL tracks)
I tried to use Midi viewers before but it didn't go so well so if I'm to remix something it's by ear, I started preferring it too
Midis always import into LMMS without any issue for me (even ripped ones), worst thing that happens is the extra 48 automation tracks all the whimsicalshootingstar midis have for some reason (which is where I found most my RtDL ones) but I can just. delete them whenever if they annoy me (they usually do)
Idk if it's just that I can't stand learning by ear or if I'm really bad at it too
Ahh, I was told the other day that was good for reading Midis, I did forget
Yeah
Like LMMS can open midis that Musescore told me were corrupted
(In reality it couldn't handle some ripped PMD midis ig)
a proper cover (after just recording random snippets lol) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BStZaI_JP3o
for me this is heaven (live in atlanta, 1999) by jimmy eat world
i don't think i've ever had a reason to play in open E until i wanted to learn this song. i also thought i'd try a new angle just so it'd be easier to show both guitars at once.
credit to @uglyredhonda for the source audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrbKeS9b0vU
those automation channels are either remnants from when the midi was being made in a software like FL (keep track of what midi channel every automation channel is targeting) or are necessary for proper midi playback
youll see the latter a lot in XG and GS midis or midis made for specific soundcards (like the SC-88)
phantasmal work, A1 transcription

i knew this would be banging when you finished
Synth™ my beloved.…//
this is craaaazy
love how your guitars sound
also wait both of your guitars look cool as hell wtf
thank you so much!
i appreciate it lol, i like painting/just tinkering with my stuff as much as i do playing
OHHHHH IT'S SO PEAK YEEEAAAAHH
I LOVE THIS?????
REALLY tasty timbres
especially the part where it ramps up near the end god
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land - A Stroll on the Ocean Floor (Kirby Super Star Soundfont)
ill do one for his kirbys maybe
I'll list them
Uchūkeibitai SDF
Adventures of Lolo III
New GhostBusters II
HyperZone
Arcana
Hal's Hole in One Golf
Alcahest
This is awesome! It was like you were taming the sort of sound this electric guitar has which made the crazier part towards the end all the more cool
Oh yeah, I know! Though there's still 4 for each channel even when it doesn't do anything (like that channel doesn't ever pitch bend yet there's a pitch automation track every time)
I'm guessing that yeah it's a remnant they couldn't opt out of including, just always been odd to me since none of my other midis from anywhere else have this
today i learned ishikawa was somehow involved in something ghostbusters related

his arcana/alcahest work is so peak
ok so yeah I redid almost all of the bassline and it's correct and better yey
Btw the key is shifted 3 half steps down from the original, I found it's more natural to do harmonies and other variations that way

I was summoned due to ishikawa mention, this is based
no one else will have the privilege of being able to work on both a ghostbusters game and the kirby series
i love how accurate it is to the actual song 😭 😭 😭
sampletank had a discount so here it is with the same exact kalimba preset
posting it here since i dont think i ever have even though its old
side note/tarn knowledge moment: dont be afraid to run synths, even basic square or sine waves, through effects/pedals
while it may sound really grindy and “Bad™” sometimes, it is possible to make the resulting sounds work!
This seems to be original? I can't see the entire name aa
thanks everyone for the kind words earlier :)
very lowkey, i enjoy
the percussion makes me wanna
progress from today's stream. I'm telling you, the harmony in this track is slept on,,,
it was fun dissecting it
it already sounds so good like this lol
I wish there was a single youtube video that could teach me how to do crazy multi octave chord stuff like this but alas, there is truly not a video for everything
Thank you both for tuning in!
it's my favorite TV channel
Of course!
Omg bouncing boss battle my beloved

Real though... (idk this just has been one of my favorite Kirby world boss themes)
god the piano in the background….it’s so peam

sometimes you gotta remember how underwhelming electric guitars are without the electric part lol
(gonna upload the proper thing later td)
mf thinks he’s acoustic
you are not your sibling bro
🎸
can’t wait to see to whole thing

I practice way more without the amp so I’d know lmao
Ikr, my sister used to practice electric bass and never plugged it in
We could barely hear it (her included)
Got a video of one of my Regina scores cuz it doesn't look like raw chaos
I'll probably try to add in more parts from the song for the second loop, but.
https://youtu.be/su350-VHGCs
Oh and kinda went with Serpentine type for it to be a longer (and bigger) "disc" like this
even if Ive only heard one recording of a Regina Serpentine fjfjf
ah this sounds so pretty
Thanks!!
the song that got me into jimmy eat world.
holy cow is the louder/top layer of kalimba present in the original and you just magnified it?? r u freestyling it to compliment? this slaps
Copied it down the best I could to study it
OOOUGGHH YEEAAAA and when they’re playing in unison,,,, it’s so peak…
i just noticed the white guitar footage is off sync so i gotta fucking fix that and reupload 💀
regardless thank yoooouuuu
it's ever so slightly behind and lowkey aggravating so eeeee (i have a slight headache now trying to fix it lol)
I made this Yedit || (a Yedit is a fan made song primarily made of other parts of certain Kanye songs) ||with the freestyles from a DN stream.
I will definitely be making a Solo Dolo PT4 thing soon
it is quite rough, but I will revisit this in the future
alright so here is one i worked on.
for context: Light MetaS and I challenged eachother to a music duel!
he did song of the surviving guardian for round 1
and for round 2 i did
https://youtu.be/inNQLjjpJ7k?si=51Uf7RVjJ6f08bMV
Oop i forgot hahaha!
ok so its Roar of Dedede
I can’t wait to watch it ^^
but i also have what i liked to call an "Interactive Album"
back in the day i had a selection of bosses vireers could choose from. and every boss they chose next affected the outcome of the story and the remix i would perform
i called it the Kirby Boss Raid
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzX5mSpV3aVHITNwNWMG_CzBQcuqXcqwv&si=7c7YFHiP4IpfzZCr
it even has a spotify release after it was completed
i have plans to add a 3 boss dlc in the future
(embeds are in the channels and roles section)
Oh wait I've seen this one before!
I think ive seen the Kirby boss raid one
Oh congrats, dude
it was my favorite thing to do
also i just unlocked embeds

There's not a chance at ALL i would win this showdown, but you know what, Light MetaS Was a composer who pushed me to the edge time after time to be the best composer i could be. without ...
i was also a part of the soul melter medley, fecto elfilis medley and the star dream medley
I love Roar of Dedede so much
That's so cool, dude
Thank you thank you!
music is my biggest passion in the world
I love this community, y'all are so talented.
Wait I just realised it’s TNH, I’m listening to soul melter medley rn
its never too late! i believe you can do it
Thank u I would love to do that
i also did a ton of uh Sonic stuff too.
Sonic smackdown OST, some superfunk remixes, whatever else im coming up with
Dude I ought to subscribe to keep updated on that
That’s super cool
Thank you thank you!
im hoping to make a grand return to kirby sometime soon. i got big plans for that
Sounds fun
Nice I’ll be looking forward to it so much
awh thanks!
hoping it turns out awesome in the end
They definitely will ❤️
Hi guys i can do soundfont remixes
Whoa this is cool
Kirby 64 soundfont my beloved
You are my best friend from now on
so i have a few Kirby GBA soundfont remixes lying around and decided to share them!
...i dont really like GBA Kirby soundfont. it sucks lol. but experimentation is important...
SKY SANDS AND DRAG RACE?!?!?!?? V

Saving these if you don’t mind
What remix do you wanna see first
-
Dark Mind’s Second Form (Kirby 64 Soundfont)
-
Masked Dedede (Kirby’s Dream Land 3 Soundfont)
-
Forest (KA/NIDL) (Kirby Super Star Soundfont)
-
Floral Fields (Kirby 64 Soundfont)
That one song from the Undertale 10th anniversary stream goes hard, so i remixed it
PFFFFT
yeah sure pop off ghgfjrfgjffv
did one for his kirbys
the credits of super star and the dl3 ost really inspire me
i really want to try "Champion Road of the Four Warriors" in the alcahest style
ALL THE ISHIKAWISMS
i love how you even included the super ambient white noise tracks he does
i think it’s kinda funny how you can tell how set in stone his style of composing is from kirby 64 onward
also i’m glad you included cute colorful candies
probably one of the most “Ishikawa” modern ishikawa songs
i know the LORE!!!
the hard pivots in audio fidelity between k64 and amazing mirror and then to rtdl is so jarring
game dev in the 2000s!
i just came up with random bullshit that only slightly went with the melody and tried like three times before going "yeah this kinda sounds like it" 😭
it’s just The Experience of The Process
the experience was spending ten billion hours on those two stupid ass levels
if i conveyed the pain and anger in my piece then mission accomplished /j
im dropping two today! based on dream course, wonderful ost...
jigsaw plains mentioned….

what a nice jazzy arrangement
and green fields is absolutely crazy lol
ayyyyy thanks ya so much!!! :)))
yeahhh this one was fun to mess about with lol
😭 better than the real thing
i spent 30 minutes doing just the intro to a cover i kinda wanna do and im happy
(finally trying utau tho yyayyy,...)
i love goo….
i don't know what this is but it does sound really peaceful! is it from a game?
its fallen leaves by Ym1024 :D i wanna try making lyrics for it but for now im just placing the notes down in utau (explodign because its taking very long and i keep adjusting it bc it sounds offtime <//3)
i was going to post another wip yesterday but for some reason my screen recorder recorded the audio weird so
THIS IS A LORE VIDEO for the Card Crashers story arc in RE:CYON of Gaia, a crossover series featuring indie VTubers and many characters from games like Super Mario, Kirby, DELTARUNE, Antonblast, and more.
【TIMESTAMPS】
0:00 - Lore
2:32 - SONG: Demon Queen's Gambit - CYON of Gaia
【Description】
Disclaimer: This is only an art concept, and...
I almost forgot to POST this, but I once again returned to using the Kirby's Dream Land 3 soundfont and did a brand new thing - including sampling We Are Number One from LazyTown!? Hmmm... Either way, here's the first battle theme for Ironmouse in Card Crashers.
(Arrangement based on StarlightDaryl's "Demon Queen Paradise", background music for Ironmouse)
sounding better wawaw
(seriously dont know what i'll do with the lyrics...)
You need to go to Channels & Roles if you want embed perms
Here's the Solo Dolo PT4 thing I was doing
the main differences are..
Extra Cudi verse
Carti's verse was shortened
that's it
wait i should've added some stuff from Solo Dolo Pt. 1
like the chorus
I could do that when it's the 2 year anniversary of INSANO NITRO MEGA
I'm days late but PEAK ISHIKAWA
Ok. Thanks!

it’s like ando and ishikawa mashed together….
thats what happened in star stacker (snes)
Guys give me any kirby music to remix it in whatever kirby soundfont you want
Kirby Squeak Squad - Prism Plains (Kirby’s Dream Land 3 Soundfont)
Pretty old, but I think it's fiiiiine
✋😶✋🔥
im snes-ifying this...
feedback would be very wonderful
i know this is the 3rd iteration of this one track i posted here LOL.. can't help it it's my fav eshop theme
THIS month, 10 years ago, this theme played in the 3ds/wii u eshop ! to celebrate here's a rushed cover I pushed out at the end of january :icant:
waitttt one sec
ok THERE
yes this is poorly mixed because it’s rushed
LOVE how experimental this sounds… I think I recall hearing a snippet of this before
best eShop theme
It's so good
And y'know what's funny, that is ironically the music I first heard you do in this channel (and made me want to back at it)
full corcle..
YES, I REMEMBER that as well
Definitely full circle...
And now for my thoughts, I love this, the bass the percussion, and the way you made this sound very complex and layered, I live for this
The drums 🥁
The chill part in the middle part is just
eyeyeyyeyeeee thank you!!
I’m not as familiar with the og track (heard it before but it’s not engrained in my head)
BUT.. this is VERY good. I hear no apparent flaws and I’m a big fan of how you handled the punchy percussion, and the overall quality of the leads
next update will be the finished one
it’s beautiful 🥹
Was testing how I could use strings?
OHHHhh this is very fancy… reminds me of older nintendo games
Heheehee claaaaasic
Thank you!!
Uploaded it to my second channel :p https://youtu.be/uBZVgoIbTcc?si=aq40mnESyMRaMLjo
First time making a Soundfont remix
But anyways hello guys, welcome to my first Soundfont remix, this one is about the Nightmare in Dream Land version of Green Greens, so i hope you like it
Thumbnail inspiration: Hellworth
Programs Used:
Vegas Pro: Editing
FL Studio: Making the Remix and the Visualizer
…
ITS DONE! i had to omit some parts due to the 5 channel limit
It’s so peak 🥹
beautifully done
unused ahh super star stage

here's a mashup I made
It's the beat of "HELICOPTER" by A$AP Rocky and the vocals of "THank god 4 me" by Schoolboy Q
this is my FIRST mashup, so it's bound to be rough.
|| I also got something brewing, but I can't show it until BULLY drops or else Yeezy LLC will snipe me ||
the layering is phenominal 😇 🐄 ‼️
the magical tone shift at 0:46 was serene I could ascend
the feelings this evokes are so mystical and hopeful, very fitting name! think you should use strings more often
I spy a Sea!
(Ty!! I definitely will try to benefit from it :D)
eeeeee thank you!!!!
i thank the original composer of that eshop theme, whoever they may be,,
i forget to check in here but i try to from time to time ahha 🫡 keep up good work
Roger that!
copy that /ref
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror - Radish Ruins (Kirby 64 Soundfont)
Get bro on Kirby Cafe already DAMN
PPFFFT HGFHDUIFD THANK YOU LMAOO 😭
I'd like to more of these (I can do snes and n64)
OOUUGHHHHH yeeeAAAAAAAA
thanks guys
i’m lowkey struggling trying to figure out that next section so it’s time to look up a bunch of references (mostly Ando
)
Groove Alert ‼️ 🪩
Oh my Yoylecake. Is this...... Genuinely....... The best song coming from a Kirby fan?
i’d heavily disagree but i appreciate the compliment

Agree to disagree your welcome
more progress (this’ll be the last update before i finish)
PEAK PEAK PEAK AND MORE PEAK IS HERE
HELLOOOOO I'VE BEEN TRANSPORTED TO PEAK
The SYNTHHHHH
The ending is like I'm ascending
(This is going great so far keep at it!)
The synth?THE SYNTH!THE EVERYTHING (and synth and knuckles)
yeah i had to put The Synth™ in

The Synth™ is the best ngl
Made another KDL3 soundfont remix
Rip off of Jay's song
hey that’s pretty funky
and i wouldn’t call it a rip off, that’s definitely you’re own thing
Damn It IS peak, like I said a million times
wip. this sounds too similar to a track i like and i dont like that lol
Sheeeeesshhh this is so f'ing good!
Mmmm so good and tasty!
OOOUGGHHHH YEEAAAAA
I love how certain parts of this sound almost improvised, the flute and the little ishikawa-esque part at the end was SOLID
thanks y’all

i’m honestly more surprised how garageband had such a realistic sounding flute 😭
No problem JAY MOJI,I mean Jayneric
You use garageband???? I have immense respect for you, I can’t get used to that daw lol
Ok that makes more sense now
bro it’s SO ASS on mobile but i can luckily work with what i got
(Reminder:The entire Sonic Rush soundtrack was made in garage band)
i don’t not believe that as the entire soundtrack of that game is sampled
FL studio mobile be like
After that, want to guess why I only use samples?
why’s that
oh yeah i hear fl studio mobile is like. actually garbage
Cuz red orange and orange red!
is this a reference to something 👁️
