If there's one thing Nintendo did right it's security

I know it sounds funny after a Boot ROM exploit allowing Switch hacks with minimal effort

but this exploit is the only real blunder and even then, it's not even Nintendo's fault, it's Nvidia's

You can mod the later revisions of the Switch, but you have to solder stuff

which at one point, to be honest, is I believe within Nintendo's acceptable margin of possible hacks because that shit is scary for most people

but that Boot ROM exploit did not please Nintendo in the slightest

As they admitted in a court that the Switch revision was indeed for fixing this problem

Note that this Boot ROM exploit actually affects tons of hardware using Nvidia Tegra and not just the Switch
