First off: the name might not be that of the tree but the random sword magolor picks up, in northern mythology the name mistiltein belongs to a sword soo kinda weird

That thing looks like a 2007 03 fan design but with more tree (it got a freaking tree crown as an enormous halo)
Which is not even particularly random, 02 already had a plant-based-core which you had to shoot to damage it and Void Terminas altar has a flower that starts blooming more and more (void termina got a bit plant stuff too)
Then there's also the absolutely cinematic showcase of its battle arena showing the destruction of Halcandra

I remember my most daunting experience with first playthrough of True Arena and 100% completion

Magolor Soul fucking shattered my self-esteem during the fight with his stronger attacks and black hole but I eventually restored my ability with a Random Copy Essence and kept fighting

#

I still felt terrible about my fight performance but I eventually got 100% completion and felt satisfied afterwards

#

My terrible hyperfocused emotions almost got the best of me until I learned that my favorite streamer won an award in the Streamer Awards and I was relieved

#

But even then, that still didn't really satisfy me since I still had terrible flashbacks to me being stupid in the Magolor Soul True Arena fight

#

So I set out to do even more runs for the True Arena, and there's one I settled on before the end of the month - a No Souvenir Items run. I chose Tornado Kirby and I say "Ready Set Go". First attempt got me to Magolor Soul but I got fucking cleaved instantly by the Flare Beam while guarding, and I died later on, but force closed my Switch to not save the record.

Then I almost felt demotivated, but then I picked up Tornado again, headed out to the True Arena, wore the Manager Magolor mask (the same one I used for my first completion of the True Arena), and perfected the Magolor Soul fight like there's no tomorrow

And I felt true victory afterwards. I think it's probably my last closure with the game, too bad it's already over, but it's indeed the first time I ever played RtDL and it was awesome to have a funky rollercoaster ride like that

#

So yeah, that was my life story, called "How A Kirby Game almost killed my self-esteem and brought it back"

you know to think that the remake was able to answer a few mysteries such as Magolor disappearing at the end of the original only for it to then be a transition into Magolor Epilogue which takes right after that moment
