I just read the ESRB summary of RtDL Deluxe

This is a side-scrolling adventure platformer in which players assume the role of Kirby, a small round character trying to help an alien. Players traverse whimsical levels while using cartoony weapons/skills (e.g., swords, bursts of fire/ice/electricity, jetpacks with small cannons, oversized missiles) to defeat robots, dragons, and boss characters. Fighting can be frenetic at times, with gunfire sounds, missile/bomb explosions, screen-shaking effects, and cries of pain; enemies disappear into puffs of smoke when defeated. One thing I hate about this ta specially is that you have to shake the controller/wiggle the control stick for a super inhale and I’ve never been good at mashing, qtr or anything in that capacity so have to do that the whole 40+ minute run while cramping my big adult hands around the small joycon controller can get tiresome

So far, 3 of the 4 files I played that sub-game on, Mega Knight’s speed was exactly 16 every time, until I beat him once, then he moved onto 15 each time after that

After I did complete that true extra mission on all 3 files, then deleted 1 to start over, on the new one I have now, I beat him again twice in a row 2 separate times, but I didn’t count either of them because the first time, I cleared hard, normal, then hard again, but even though there were no faults in between, so I thought it would still count it, and the 2nd time, I did fault once, but restarted before That round ended, which normally makes it not count as an actual fail

1 tip I can give for those struggling to complete that mission for winning on hard twice in a row, is that 2 of the other 3 times that it did count it as completed before, I lost to mostly Meta Knight & Magolor several times in between my 2 full wins, but I restarted before it moved on to the next screen & I didn’t fault in the middle of any of those matchups every time in between, so it still said I completed that mission

So I guess it doesn’t count it as a fail if you restart fast enough & don’t fault.
