You need a 2nd player or account to pick it up

So this is how I can explain it as th one duping

#

Let’s say you picked up an item on Jan 1 10pm.

#

You upload the file when you pick up the item which let’s say you save and quit at 11pm

#

The next day you play again and want to drop it to someone on Jan 2 9pm

#

You upload/save file of the current date of Jan 2 9pm when you have the item

#

Come back to the game, drop the item and close the game, the time is now Jan 2 9:05pm

#

There will be 2 diff files on ur ps, one has the most recent file where you dropped the item and one has the file where you still have it before you dropped it

#

You hit download to switch the current file to the old file before you dropped the item

#

So in the other persons game they have the item you dropped and in your game you never dropped the item in the 1st place

#

That’s how you dupe it

I explained it kinda bad but to summarize duping on ps: Upload=You have the item and you dropped it
Download=You go back to file where you haven’t dropped it yet
