I mean... If I'm using a sniper I'm not gonna be close enough for enemies to reliably hit me so my shield will regen automatically, if I'm up close using another weapon I'm not gonna have the shield capacity for 3% of it to matter against close combat.

It's really just that 3% doesn't really make a big difference against how crazy the characters are already.

And Bl2 and 3 are both big games

The luneshine is just like easily the best one for me its so so dumb.

As long as you are holding it and an enemy dies you get the shield heal.

Diadem kills a person? Shield heal, grenade? Heals. I mean it works just like moxxi weapons but aurelia just spams aoe’s that she just gets insane mileage off of this

Pair this with the stupid Shield of Ages that has like over 200k capacity

And you can get insane

Not just that but the Eddie synergizes both with the luneshine effect and the shield of ages super well

Eddie gives you more capacity and can give you free percentage based shield heals amongst other things

So you end up having like 230k capacity or something dumb with multiple ways of healing your shield activating its just so dumb

And aurelia has a good chunk of shield based abilities that are really good for this and end up activating all her cryo shit and it just feedbacks into itself

It just feels so so good to play like this

I think she can def have some survivability issues but once you get a good build going it really isnt so bad, and by good build i just mean a build that consistently just sets you up to clear house with your diadem which doesnt take much but in comparison to the other VHs i think her survavibility is on the lower end

I think Nisha probably has the worst survivability besides her if i remember correctly

That's an odd opinion to have. Amara is alright but she's gear reliant and her trees only get good in endgame

I have the opposite issue, Amara puts a knowledge check on to me to make everything work, but it always works well, Zane makes most things a struggle to work, which makes me feel restricted

The communities have mostly died out a lot recently so only the long standing players who really get in to the info talk nowadays

It's a lot better for us to get correct and 'new' information out
