I'm curious what people think of my current skill setup. I don't think it's great, but it's done me well.
Some notes:

• I haven't looked up builds for Roland yet. I've mostly just gone off of my own (poor) judgement over the course of this character.
• Assault was picked up due to my most commonly used weapon being a form of combat rifle (aka havoc rifles my beloved).
• I switch between using a heavy gunner or support gunner COM - the former for a massive mag size (usually with a fire rate bonus) and the latter for ammo regen (with the mag size bonus) - hence why there's one point in Stockpile.
• the supply drop point was a misclick and i cant be assed to respec 😭

i would go with gun damage and max ammo capacity, since you already have +100% scale crit from the sniper itself and that regen is fairly slow, better off getting below 33% ammo capacity and opening two ammo crates rather than waiting for regen

that and specific uniques that are melee themed or have effects triggering off of melee also have their own modifiers to bring them up to the same level despite not being able to roll the correct barrel

so, in theory

1. you don't need a specific unique to just have the highest melee damage
2. there's options for when you do want a melee weapon instead of just defaulting to rapier (which has the same baseline melee damage as everything else, but with a periodic increase on top)

to hopefully help out melee a little bit, give it a bit more variety, and give incentive to go and melee enemies even in builds that don't do it as their main focus

i wasn't meant to be doing large loot reworks in this update, but here i am

lmao i gave the same amount of drops to hyperius, and uh

the way i gave the drops to pyro pete means they drop in two batches (identical drop pools for both), but hyperius only ever has drop instance at a time, and so i doubled the amount for it so they have the same amount, and it's so much loot at once that there's a noticable stutter

unrelated but i'm also making it so the drops land much more clustered up so you don't have to run around the arena to sift through them

it doesn't look nearly as cool as a proper lootsplosion but at a quick glance i couldn't figure out how to do one in a more controlled way

Those are nice, btw I always wanted a butcher like weapon that would shoot random elemental pellets with each one having a special effect (ex. shock shot pierce, move fast but have low pellet count, fire shoots are slow and explode after a bit/on contact, corrosive shoot a lot of low damage pellet but they deal a stacking DOT, explosive empty the mag and is like a buff ravager, shooting multiple dozen of pellets with high spread.
