I've seen a few small visual artifacts before but this is the first where it's gotten one of the values wrong for me.

wolf's venom bolt dot is guarranted and also scale with all wolf's damage boosts which is pretty good,

Venom bolt is quite weird, if the enemy take the full dot, it would have done much more damage than a normal shot even considering flesh/shield resistance.
Its most usefull at the beginning of your action skill when you don't have many rolling thunder stacks.
In general, the more time it take an enemy to die, the better venom bolt is.
There is also the weird quirk that since wolf fire multiple shot in quick succession, one venom bolt projectile could endup doing less damage, but the next shot endup killing the target so it did not matter.
It's a very hard to judge skill i still need to play more around it, wolf has been very good with it so far

It feels almost mandatory to survive in UVHM with the lifesteal and slagging, but its lifesteal is so powerful that it completely makes any chance of dying nonexistent. A single shotgun pellet is enough to fully recover my health from near death. I went from barely making it through normal mode, to feeling powerful while still having some challenges in TVHM, to now feeling like a god that's bored of being a god.

I could handicap myself by not using the grog nozzle, but I have to give up slagging or lifesteal until I get a new Rubi, but neither alternative would compare to the grog nozzle.

I had initially ruled out Axton as my first character, because I had chosen Roland for my Borderlands 1 playthrough - They both used turrets and I wanted to mix it up instead.

(For context and anyone curious, when I begun BL1 I chose to go in with no knowledge of the characters or their skills, and chose Roland specifically because of the gun specialties. When I started BL2 I chose to look at what the skills actually did, but not any other information relating to them, and landed on Salvador only because I fucking LOVE dual-wielding.)

I'm the same way, I struggle insanely hard with replaying games. Most of my borderlands 2 gameplay has been Salvador, I often enjoy broken and ridiculous builds and skills in games but salvador can get very tiring, especially if you're not switching anything up and just running through the campaign. To be fair, most of my time is spent helping other people progress.

I definitely recommend that you try Maya, there's tons of flexibility and she can use almost everything; much more to play around with and not get stale

I think I was level 6 or 7 when I first tried to fight Flynt and I was dealing 10 damage each. It was almost impossible to kill him, especially since where I was standing was causing him to occasionally reset his health

They are global resistance which affect all enemies (exept most in Peak), those are your elemental matchup multipliers, and then they are specific enemy elemental/damage source resistance which can be set to a custom value for an enemy type, in this case flynt had his incendiary damage taken set to 5% by the dev, technically he still take that 1.75 fire on flesh boost

Dumbest shit is when they give custom incendiary resistance to armored enemies which already resist fire thanks to global resistances.
Some loaders just have 2 layer of incendiary damage resistance.

telltale games were starting to get oversaturated
presequel just came out and people were fatigued with borderlands

new tales sold badly in part because of borderlands fatigue as well but its also just not nearly as good

regular modding is out, sdk modding lets you ADD CODE which is HUGE

the sdk IS the game or its all of the ai, and menu buttons, just tells the game how to respond to inputs

its a set of files that was previously encrypted so good it was useless but with ai nowdays decrypting is so easy

every game is getting its encryption broken

its basically the dev kit that they "lock" before giving out the game
