what kind of build are you going for? most people run Cunning/Middle tree first for Death Bl0ss0m but if not, you should usually focus on one of the trees at a time
0ptics is pretty pointless, you shouldnt be getting shot when zoomed in often for the aim to be disrupted and the zoom is...not needed
if going for a melee build, you should get Execute ASAP

the dlc for 2 is just that, the original dlc for the game that’s dnd themed, after that they made a standalone version of that dlc with some minor tweaks for the upcoming game wonderlands, an entirely brand new borderlands game continuing off of the dnd theme the original bl2 dlc created
the only reason they made a standalone version of bl2’s dlc was for people who wanted to know the start of that story without actually purchasing bl2

if you intend on actually playing borderlands 2, there is no reason to also play the separate version of the dlc, as all it adds is some already existing gear from borderlands 2 itself
