to be blunt, you dont really need an optimal route unless you just want to finish the game quickly; killing everything you see helps for xp

there will be points where you can be under leveled if you dont grind however and so long as you aren't struggling to do the main missions, just keep doing them

then boosters are automatically picked up after a short delay, so you still need to go near them to vacuum them up, but youre not running over to press E on em

Axton has a great overall sustain in both shield and health so you can opt to not use Moxxi weapons if you play around Preparation and Able

Gaige shock build has Electrical Burn and actually an upgrade to shock impact dmg so eeks dee, nothing compares

Fact is
Gaige and Krieg are the only characters to increase elemental impact dmg
Gaige for shock
Krieg for explosive

And before you mention Burn Baby Burn, its only for Fire DoTs

there’s a couple of different midget spawns in the knoxx dlc

mini steve in the prison, the crimson shorties in the lance chests right before the armory, and some maps have ones that spawn out of dumpsters called dumpster divers

they aren’t like loot midgets or anything tho, i think they all exist mostly to be funny as well as being tied to achievement

although i’ve gotten lucky with the weapons that the crimson shorty has dropped me in the past lol
