No this is BL1 enhanced with the new UI changes and model fixes and such as that

The pre sequel imo is an okay game a lot of the characters you meet are actually fairly annoying imo specifically one aswell

But the gameplay and new laser weapons and cryo are a cool mechanic to work with on characters such as Claptrap or Whilhem

It kinda felt like an almost overpriced dlc since it felt like tps was trying ride off Handsome Jack again

After seeing the success of bl2 with him

As for content to play with you get two extra vault hunter dlc and one dlc campaign which connects itself to how bl2 technically started in a way

the thing about shielded nomads is that their shield blocks bullets (lol). What it doesn't block is explosions, so when you see one you should immediately do one of:

1. fastball it to flinch the shield, then unload your CC on its squishy body
2. use deception to make it turn around, then unload CC on its squishy body
3. switch to a torgue weapon and unload on the shield, this can damage the nomad through it

So if you know the enemy then building to attack it's vulnerabilities is definitely strong.
But say you build around fire & everything you face is resistant, then it's better to have built around a neutral element.

Of course ppl in D&D build around specific damage types but there are a few that are rarely resisted like Bludgeoning, Force & Psychic which are very strong options to have as your big hitters bc they will always work no matter what.
