I'd take some points out of the flicker skill and place them in the immolate skill because the fire damage bonus can be stronger than it appears. Your badass rank will boost elemental efficiency anyway especially if it's high so flicker isn't that important apart from enhancing slagging on OP levels, but since you have the ruin skill, that's just more reason to put less in flicker.

Inertia is also pretty decent when paired with foresight cause your getting extra reload speed on top of some shield regeneration which is nice. Fleet is good too depending on your playstyle. Especially for finding cover faster when your shield and health are low, or with a rough rider shield, you can move across maps much faster.

Quicken isn't as important as it might look because Maya's skill cooldown is already pretty fast and you're only boosting it by a handful of seconds. It can be compensated by class mods or relics

Phoenix is fun for it's visual effects and staggering but take a couple points out of that and put it elsewhere. Helios is weak in damage but it can help prolong enemy shield recharge delay and if I recall can slow down their health regen too. Not super useful but it has it's moments. In fact if you wanna keep flicker, you can spend some phoenix points into immolate instead.

Lifetap is one of Maya's best skills. Don't let the low percent numbers fool you. A good grenade, crit, or rocket while it's active can fill a health bar easily. You might run out of ammo for a specific moxxi gun but lifetap makes any weapon a moxxi weapon in the heat of combat so don't have to switch so often.

I totally saw the low numbers and though "Not very worth it"

So a level 1 lifetap doesn't mean you only get 1.2% health per damage, it means any amount of damage, small or large, rewards 1.2% damage done as additional healing for you.

So in OP levels damage is super high in combat, so this means you're gonna be healing much more than 1.2 % of your health when you are hitting enemies. It's gonna basically refill you're health in just seconds with the right guns

Not useless, but less effective than life tap. Life tap will provide much more survivability than elated. You don't have to wait for your action skill cooldown to finish before healing off enemies again.

Sweet release is also better than it looks cause if you are using phase lock to kill enemies, 5 life orbs that heal 15% missing health will do much more healing than level 5 elated by itself un boosted.

Sustenance is just constant regeneration, but not in quick amounts, so it's kind of helpful in between fights
