so inside your server.cfg file you should see a line starting with set mysql_connection_string

you'll want to double check these settings an ensure that they match your database host, name, user and password.

if you re-created your sql database then you may have changed the name or the user associated with the database

did you only update your mysql server or did you delete it and create another one?

kind of, but scroll up to see if there's any errors closer to the top

your sql database is running, and the connection string is correct. as long as you didn't modify the database structure you should be able to connect, unless i'm missing something.. even if you modified the structure of the db it would still connect

yeah, that's because you're technically loading into the server but the framework is kicking you out for not being able to connect to the database

you're connecting using localhost with a root user, no password, so as long as the connection string is correct you should be fine there.

in your xampp control panel, what does it say under Port on the MySQL line?

got me stumped on this one mang

just to be sure... open your xampp control panel again and click the Logs button on the MySQL row. you should only have one option in the list. this is the actual error log file for the mysql server itself. open that file and see if there's any errors in there.

you can also click the Browse option under Logs and drop the entire mysql_error.log file in here and I'll review it

i added a drug script and it crashed but i fully deleted
