U can’t dribble or pass after using gum block since you are still in the animation. They can easily steal the ball back if they know about that , even the person who got blocked got enough time to react and steal it back if you used the ability kinda close . Now if u use gum block with his teammates nearby then high chance they will just reach to steal the ball back since your character is in a slow animation which forces you to not be able to dribble
