We’re reaching out as committed ranked gooners who love your game and want to see it stay competitive and balanced. Right now, there’s a major issue with the Posterizor zone ability that’s making ranked play feel frustrating and unfair.
Posterizor gives players the power to dunk no counterplay. No matter how well we position or time our blocks, we can’t stop it. This removes a key part of gameplay—defense—and makes the outcome of many plays feel predetermined. When one ability consistently overrides skillful defense, it takes away from the competitive integrity of ranked matches.
We get that Posterizor is meant to be flashy and powerful, and it’s definitely cool to use. But right now, it’s simply too strong. Players without the zone are at a constant disadvantage, and there’s no realistic way to fight back once it’s activated. It turns ranked games into a one-sided dunk fest instead of a true test of skill.
We’re not asking for it to be removed—just balanced. Maybe reduce its success rate, or make perfect-timed blocks cancel it. Anything that brings back some level of counterplay would be a huge improvement.
We care about this game and want to keep grinding ranked, but it’s tough when one move shuts down all effort on defense. Please consider adjusting Posterizor so that both offense and defense can shine.
