I love the idea of masteries, however I wouldn't make them exclusive to non limited styles and I wouldn't make them give you a buff, maybe just a cosmetic or a cosmetic change on the style. For example, if Symbiote had a mastery, maybe Symbiote 5 could be a white skin for the awakening.

I think masteries should be cosmetic that make the style look cooler. Like adding cooler animations or revamping an entire cutscene as part of it
