Original Concept Style: Theorem [ Limited ]
Armed with genius intellect and unstable drugs, he isn’t here to play fair. The genius is here to rewrite your genome and do whatever it takes to win, but more importantly see the results of his experiment. So far he has grasped and understood many star players' abilities and turned them into his own. You're merely a test subject to him, and the court is now his lab.
Ability 1: Random Injection
[ only usable when in close proximity to either a teammate or an opponent ]
[without ball] Upon activation there will be one of two noises to indicate whether he injected a teammate or an opponent, as well as a visual indicator on the injectee. Random Injection will give one of three debuffs or buffs to whoever is nearest, speed, amount of dribbles, and ability cooldown.
This is supposed to be used in fast play competitive play where the slightest change can cause you to be able to either steal the ball, pro-long an annoying ability from coming back, or help your teammate drive down the counter to use an ability that will guarantee points without risking either a jackpot, giant, or lock from stealing it.
The speed boost would be 2x, and the speed debuff would be 2x. The amount of dribbles would either increase by one or decrease by one, and the ability on cooldown would simply either instantly get rid of one (at random) of the injectees abilities cooldowns, or give one back for your teammate. The effect for speed and dribble increase would only last 15 seconds for teammates, and 10 seconds for opponents.
Yes an instant cooldown would be broken if spammed on somebody, so Injection Immunity would prevent The Scientist from using injection on the same person twice in a row.
Ability 2: Quantum Tunneling [ VARIANTS ]
[ usable with/without the ball ]
[without] Upon activating without the ball, Theorem will jump through a wormhole and be able to move around inside, invisible to others, and pop out after 5 seconds (yes he will not be seen, only the VFX and sound will indicate when he is in the wormhole, as well as a small ripple in the air will indicate where he is). Inside the wormhole Theorem will gain 1.25x speed, as well as will be able to get out of the wormhole early if he presses it again. Inside the wormhole he will not be able to steal or block, so time things well. On deactivation of the wormhole he will not be able to touch anything for .2 seconds to give people time to react. If he deactivates it early the delay will be cut down to .1 second.
The purpose of this off ball movement would be just like how phantom is used, get open in corners, pop up to block people when they don’t expect it, and finally confuse opponents.
[ with ] upon activation Theorem will tunnel towards the closest player, stunning them for 1.5 seconds and boosting his own speed by 1.25x. The ball will not be able to be stolen from him if he has stamina left, but will be able to steal from him if he has no stamina. The range would be somewhat limited, somewhat similar to how far flash can dash.
The purpose would be to obviously iso somebody and get free points or even just split apart defenders. There would be a small window to dodge the stun if you jump, causing Theorems equipment to malfunction and he would be unable to shoot for 1 second as his tech is glitching. The only cue you would have is an visual one, so it really emphasizes to only use Quantum Tunneling in close range iso scenarios, but it can still be predicted if you outsmart the Mad Scientist.
