I’ve noticed that the current scoring and MVP system doesn’t fairly represent defensive players' impact. I mainly play defense, focusing on blocks and assists rather than scoring goals. However, my OVR remains at 71 despite having 400 assists and 280 blocks, and I’ve never earned an MVP award.
A few key issues:

MVP is overly focused on scoring – The game promotes teamwork, yet defensive players rarely get recognition.

Blocks are misrepresented on the scoreboard – If I block 15 times, only 5 appear on the scoreboard.

Assists and defensive plays should have more weight – Assists create goals, and blocks prevent them, both crucial for winning.
Suggestions for improvement:

Adjust the MVP system to better account for defensive contributions (blocks, assists, interceptions, clears).

Fix block tracking on the scoreboard to accurately display all defensive plays.

Increase the point value of assists and defensive actions to reflect their importance in the game.
Defense is just as vital as offense, and recognizing it properly would make the game more balanced and rewarding for all playstyles. Hope to see improvements soon!
