They really should’ve found some way to make ||Shih-na/Calisto Yew|| the main villain of Investigations 1
Taking them down feels incredibly satisfying and impactful after it builds up especially over the last 3 cases and then Mr. “muh extraterritorial rights” comes in with no prior buildup and steals the show
You could swap the order of the two somehow, take down ||Alba|| as the leader of the smuggling ring and then at the end you still have to clean up the loose end that is the last leg of the Yatagarasu, the one that’s directly personal for Edgeworth and Lang who, while not the mastermind behind the events, still directly did a lot of the killings
I suppose you’d also have to rewrite it so they did at least one of the murders in I-5
