#Yugioh Lore Discussion

Or maybe white relic
The dragon like creature is quaeritis
Before it fully transforms into guingol
Isnt that just Grand Guignol
Pre-stained glass wings but yeah
The one trap that fusion summons
Oh Banishment
wait, grand guignol existed before ecclesia became red cartesia?
it is relic and quae
we always knew that quae had a dragon-like form and was just inhabiting the armor, but this was the first time we actually saw it
Guingol is Quaeritis’s final form more or less
ngl, using horror theatre as final boss of theatric archetype feels fitting
Aluber wasn't defeated.
Looks like after Cartesia took the blast meant for him, he just upped and left the place where the Final Battle was happening admist the chaos with Zoa/Dis Pater.
wait
this is rocky
their ship is rocky
the hammer
is it just me or does albaz skin colour keep gettin darker and darker every new art he gets?
the rocky that was in ecc's hammer left it after she got taken, and took refuge with albaz
a[albaz the ashen]
it doesn't make sense for the spring on his shoulder now to be a completely random one; the ship is probably something more akin to Sprind in that albaz modified it with his power
its really not.
its a Splind fused with the Rank Springans Xyz.
No not this lindwurm
a[lindwurm the gunhammer]
Oh it has different head
I wonder when did Kitt make this
She just walking around with her... walker, and then suddenly mecha dragon
sometime after beating up argyro, since i believe it's also powered by spright energy
Right, must have used Spright power to speed up building
So we are getting a Hiatus from Albaz stuff?
make ? psure albaz just summoned it, like when he randomly summoned splind
no lindwurm is definitely a kitt thing
People: trying to solve the lore and make sense of it
Konami: "Let's suddenly make mechanics more relevant"
it has a similar design to her other works with the blue accents and she's piloting the thing
that is the face of someone who has engineered the greatest battle machine and is about to kick ass
- it would be really weird if she came back from the land of iron with nothing for herself, just a giant robot buddy and a gun for shuraig
So here's my headcanon for the story ending
So in about next week we are getting a Fire archetype
It has nothing to do with lore
sprind was an existing springans ship that albaz used his power to modify, so i guess it's possible that they say albaz modified lindwurm as well but that just seems lame
It just exists to give fire support
And then
We see ALBAZ is in that fire archetype for some reason
Under a different name, no one knows why and no card refers to him by name
And then we see a portal open
And Reinoheart comes out of it
And then while they explore the fire land to help Reino
We see Caliga
And they interact with Caliga
And we see Caliga is just a projection
So Reino makes a portal to Aleister's world
And they come there to give Albaz his power back in another form
And then he fuses with ALEISTER AND REINO
BUT THEN ANOTHER PORTAL OPENS
AND IN COME THE DINOMISTS
THE ZOODIAC
THE CRYSTRONS
THE TRUE DRACOS
MASTER PEACE
AND MASTER, ALEISTER, REINO AND ALBAZ FUSE TOGETHER INTO ONE BIG GUY AND THEY THEN DESTROY THE SPELLBOOKS
SO THE SPELLBOOKS
WHAT DO THEY DO?
They summon TRISHULA
And they then Synchro with Trishula
And make her a Spellbook dragon
And then Trish kills the other mages
And then the good guys win
But OH OH ALUBER IS HERE
He takes Trish's corpse and he fuses with it
He loses because he is not gay enough
And then they put Master Peace bacj to 3
Oh also Kitt is alive after this because why nit
Not*
No way anyone is reading this but anyways
Isn't that him fusing with it?
he does not "fuse" in the lore with anything. his fusions are more of transformations.
So Albaz is a fraud
no.
the konami just succs translating lore to gameplay.
To be accurate, his fusions gameplay wise should be more like mask change ( if he appropriate 2nd material is on the field).
Konami went to the less gimmicky way. evntho its wrong.
you forgot one teensy little detail
What
OH MY GOD
Albaz is just Eevee if Eevee can turn to dragons then witch back to normal.
so a DITTO?
pmuch
no. it can't be ditto since ditto only turns to existing stuff.
albaz has new evos based on whatever in the environment.
missed oppurtunity to make a dragon called "Albareclissia"
a kirby then?
kirby still vores the other monsters.
albaz does not touch anything when he evolves, it just has to be in the same place.
its more like Eevee turning to a Leafeon bc it was near a moss rock. Except instead of a moss rock, its literally anything.@young lynx
take albaz to the sea and he will turn to either a boat, submarine, or sea serpent dragon. For example
I think their Golden Flames hurt Zoa and Dis Pater along with Fleur probably attacking Dis Pater too.
Albaz be like: highly adopted very unstable.
Probably but my theory is the Blazing Swordsoul card that came out recently was her converting her Despia power into Swordsoul power.
she seems evil af. idk about that.
and new Albion must have done something.

Probably purified her somewhat and Albaz and Ecclesia do have Remnants of Swordsoul energy left, so maybe it awakened her dormant Swordsoul powers.
Dragma deez pater
the byssted SUGMAnir
Isnt that just Theo and Adin
YGO lore enthusiasts trying to analyze pixels on card art
I think at this point we should just wait for more cards or another lore magazine excerpt
Yeah, I meant in the next pack
the thing is if this is the end, the next set won't have any albaz lore. it would just start a new saga.
so pixeles it is.
But I'm still so confused as to what is happening and why it ended this way
It could be the survivors of dogmatika
Npcs
Also I doubt this is the last of the Albaz lore
yeh but 12 sets
Same
that's how much WL took
Although a part of me also expects this to be the actual end too; seems like something Konami would do
That begs the question
What's the reception of card lore in JP? Must be high if they are willing to do abyss after WL
I'm not sure how you would even measure that. Card sales?
fanart i guess
and sure there is alot of abyss fanart.
alot!
Honestly this just feels like part one and we'll probably continue the rest story after a brief time skip like Duel Terminal and plug up those plot holes.
For now until stated otherwise by official source I think Fleur is either dead or she went on a journey to find the remaining Swordsouls, as well as talk to the Icejade Queen so Fleur can be purified of any remaining Desipian energy (I'm hoping for the latter).
A VERY big longshot, but it would be epic if Fleur Synchroed with the remnants of Mo Ye's soul trapped in that Icejade monstrosity, and become a new Swordsoul card. Not holding my breath but I'd love if they went this route.
🤝 swordsoul appreciator
Would this be abyss 1 then?
Swordsoul shot up to one of my top favorite Archetypes hench my username (would of added Lyrilusc too if I had room)
Most likely
What's tenyi?
A Wyrm archetype that has good Synergy with Swordsouls who are also Wyrms.
Thanks
No prob
AL2 will probably be facing off against Quem and AL3 will most likely be Aluber. But who knows Quem could be the final boss too.
They were all somewhat self-contained
Sure, but set in the same world with some characters shared between them
I wouldnt be surprised if the same happened to Albaz
We still havent been to the Hole
I think there's one more UR card left right. We could get something related to the lore like an after credit vibe.
I feel like its theo and fleur kinda looks like a feminine body
i doubt its maximus, maybe just random members of dogmatika
why would maximus be randomly celebrating his defeat
how would ecclesia be there if she's in the plane with albaz
i keep calling fleur eclessia, my bad ;D
who would you guys say is the main antagonist for abyss lore?
it's maximus right? not aluber?
Maximus is the primary antagonist yes
yeah it looks like he's in the bottom right of Boundless Open Land
yaaay
It seems like the only real fatalities of the final battle were Fleur/Iris, Maximus, and maybe shuraig
shame

So pretty much just Fleur, Maximus, and seemingly Sargas (the real loss)
We dont know whats up with Fleur either
I think it’s safe to assume she’s dead until proven otherwise
I feel like Fleur is probably going on a journey to find the remaining Swordsouls Chixiao, Taia, and by extension Icejade Mo Ye. As well as maybe check up on the Icejade Queen too.
If we are getting a sequel I don't see her dying anytime soon
In the end I'm hoping for this sequel so hopefully we can get some actual Swordsoul support
It’s just crazy how she can pull Titan slaying attacks out of her ass with seemingly no recoil, so soon after nearly dying
True but I think Albaz/Ecclesia's Fusion was also attacking with golden flames I believe so Fleur wasn't attacking alone
Fleur be like
Be dogmatika
Oh, dogmatika bad, imma leave
Join swordsoul
Oneshot boss
Fight other boss
Try to oneshot it, fails, dies
Comes back
Oneshots boss
She was at least doing more about it than Shuraig was
If you look behind her in Blazing Swordsoul you'll see those golden flames
Fwiw Fleur was with swordsoul before joining dogmatika I believe
wait what
Iirc the Iris swordsoul concept art mentions it
Tbh
Fleur being sort of an antagonist now could work if its still Kiseki-esque like it was at the start
Maybe but I don't see what motive she'd have going against Ecclesia
do you know where the TL is for that?
nevermind
found it
There is one on YGOorg but I might be remembering wrong
Iris being able to fly is something I genuinely forgot she could do
Honestly if we do get a 2nd part I hope the Swordsouls get there second window and make up for being out of the battle.
Idk why I thought it was officially stated she was with swordsoul pre-dogmatika
I guess my brain just thought it made more narrative sense
who needs flight when you can jump good
And summon lightning
Or when you can one shot creatures 1000s of times your size
it's not explicitly mentioned anywhere but yeah it does make sense
Literally the only reason the tribs survive Fleur is because of their anti dogmatika weapons
i know they were in conflict
but anti dogmatika weapons?
first time i heard of those
- fleur would have been the one who directed adin and theo to the mountain so she had to have known about them already
- theo and adin don't make much of an improvement in the time they're there but iris has a whole outfit and shit so it makes sense if she was there previously
- if she wasn't originally a swordsoul then she could just kind of inherently do the lightning bc reasons
the bullets the tribs used were able to cancel out the power of the stigmata
good old Valuable Book-only lore amiright
The whole reason the therion arc happens is trying to discover the source of the anti stigmata bullets
Argyro was the source of anti-hole tech/weapons
Tribs got them
Somehow
I don't think we ever found out how
We did not
Trading™️ presumably
Thus began Kitt's crazy adventures
And Kitt went with the Springans to Argyro directly to get the tech to fight Maximus
And it was Sargas that knew where to go
or maybe just Thievery™️ ferrijit is good at that right
Yeah
Not even Kitt
Springans came from Argyro
oh, well then that makes a bit of sense
thanks
I wonder
The springans are probably byproducts of its energy production
If Springans are just burnt out sparks from Argyro, like Sprights
that makes sense. Maybe she was cast out for some reason.
Also yeah Copper
She probably chose to leave tbh
Might explain their obsession with burning brighter
yeah idt they would have kicked her out
they seemed pretty chill for the most part
It’s more likely Fleur joined with dogmatika to try and bring order or something
Not necessarily
Just by being overwhelmingly powerful and using that to suppress conflicts
my idea is that longyuan, who is evil, played a part in her leaving, and she was picked up by dogmatika
What if in part 2 Fleur, Adin, and Theo are gonna be the predecessor of the deceased Swordsouls.
and swordsoul is like "hm, if longyuan thinks she should leave, then we agree"
adin and theo actually doing something? woah
Adin and Theo are playable in sealed exactly
Fleur takes Chengying's spot,
Theo takes Mo Ye's place
And Adin Longyuan's place.
Also have Mo Ye and Fleur fuse together (new Synchro) for a power boost to sovereignty
And Chixiao and Taia and the Auspicious beast are probably still alive.
chugjug my beloved
it'd be cool if we get to see albaz and ecc go back to the mountain and have a reunion with aegirine and whichever swordsouls are alive
but it also raises the question of "where the fuck were you" even more
I could see Aegirene building a castle around longyuans corpse
They did my favorite archetype dirty, so hopefully Swordsoul are on the front stage for round two.
I think she absorbed his powers since her new cards effect is similar to His effect of creating a token tuner for Synchro Summoning her Synchro card
So not only is he a permanent Ice Sculpture but he also the one thing he cherished most to the point of treason...
His Power.
Im not sure fleur could've joined later in life
The saints seem to be prepared for that role from a young age
I think its more likely she met the Swordsoul when she already was a saint
Same
But yeah my guess is Fleur will now be a sympathetic antagonist
Akin to Arianrhod from the Trails of series
I feel like if Fleur already knew the Swordsoul, they would have mentioned in VBEX2.
And her Lightning is prob a learned technique seperate from any of her Dogma, Swordsoul, Despia powers.
I also don't believe she's dead. Feel like if that was the case, we'd see her dying/dead in a card or just not have Luluwalith as a card. No reason to bring her back from the dead just to kill her offscreen.
that's assuming that the writers are good though
The writing has genuienly been fine.
Esp. compared to how the others storylines have ended.
Who the fuck are you?
Kinda hard to tell who the two are under the ship that isn't Ferrijit/Shuraig. Maybe Adin/Theo.
Oh Sargas is still alive
Just saw him down at the bottom
But I think the ones next to Springans is def the Redhead and maybe 2 of the nuns that take care of the Saints. Basically the skeletons we see in White Relic's art or the token art etc. I guess, even they survived the Despiafication or whatever.
I just don't think it's Maximus.
Where, Copper?
Under the right tarp on the right
I think the one with the Cannon in the bottom is Ceras.
Ah
Kinda looks like Sargas so I am coping
fleur trained some of the swordsouls

wait ... he picked up that from the sand...
sargas might be dead guys
This what initially makes me thing that he prolly the only one that remember Sargas left
But then I remember his crew mostly still alive
Rocky surely does
Wait sorry what the FUCK is going on in this one???
I see it as Fleur one shotted the big bad
Converted her Despian power into Swordsoul power and kill the big bad.
[Swordsoul blazing awakening] or something I think
If you control a Synchro Monster: Target 1 card on the field or in either GY; banish it. If your opponent controls a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster: You can banish 1 Synchro Monster from your GY; add this card from your GY to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Swordsoul of Blazing Awakening" once per turn.
Yep
ooooooooh
ad libitum as long white hair ? wtf
also the thingy in the forehead of albaz is different
a[ab libitum]
nope
I can kinda see a tuft of hair on top
that's not hair.
i feel like his face reveal is significant enough for them to keep hiding it
like there is no point of hiding someone's face, if their face does not mean anything.
yet even when he has no ,ask on, the keep hiding it.
then why make him remove the mask anyway.
there has to be something ....
then again maybe if it was Maximus ... i would get the no face reveal... since not looking at his face is a rule... but ad libitum ?...
a[ashiyan]
Vega looking ass, he must have long hair
If there's a part 2 hopefully we get more information. Perhaps there are more Swordsouls than those we just know still alive somewhere
Yeah, there's nothing really to go off from that excerpt
On the second panel
This is kind of a cool theory
Hah he prescribes by my theory that Aluber just wanted to get his power back instead of being a "bad guy"

If your opponent Special Summons a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster(s): You can activate 1 of these effects (but you can only use each effect of "The Boundless Open Land" once per turn);
● Add 1 "Fallen of Albaz", or 1 monster that mentions it, from your Deck to your hand.
● Special Summon 1 "Fallen of Albaz", or 1 monster that mentions it, from your hand.
Yes.
The first saint Quem and Aluber are like Albaz and Ecclesia, but with Maximus putting into motion his plan to reshape himself into a god, Quem was sacrificed and Aluber was swallowed up by a Hole.
However, even though he was thought to have died in the abyss of the Hole, Aluber survived and awaited an eternity for the appearance of 666 saints.
Only caring for enacting revenge on Maximus who took Quem from him, the red boy watched over the rise and fall of the northern nation (Dogmatika) and the various peoples of the land through his mask.

In preparing to raise the curtain on his revenge tragedy, he entered into a cooperative pact with an assassin from Dogmatika (someone who had some sort of connection with Quem). That assassin gained Maximus' trust and attained a high position.
Side bar: Since his hair is white like Quem's, we can guess he might even be of her lineage (and give a reason for also wanting revenge against Maximus)
Eventually, 666 saints were gathered, the time of gospel came, and the curtains were raised on this Branded tragedy. Along with the appearance of Despians, Maximus descended as an angel in preparation for becoming a god.
The assassin was also transformed into Ab Libitum, and continued to play along as Maximus' advisor while furthering Aluber's plans.
Side: Aluber never showed his true face to anyone else (foreshadowing his connection with Maximus)
Aluber, wearing a mask, unceremoniously appeared in the sky above Dogmatika, set out on his own while purposely avoiding encountering Maximus.
Right now, Aluber only had a single goal: to retrieve his power that had split off from the abyss. To that end, he relentlessly pursued Albaz and forcefully took the power from him. Since the only enemy in his eyes was Maximus, he didn't kill Albaz even though he had many chances to do so.
Side: Ad Libitum buying time not for Maximus, but for Aluber
Aluber became a beast of the abyss after reclaiming his power, and after having waited an eternity, was reunited with a resurrrected Quem in the form of Cartesia.
At that moment, having gathered the power of all the saints, Maximus finally achieved his long-awaited desire, and was reborn as a godlike being. Aluber, having gained all the draconic power, transformed into Alba Los and faced Maximus. However, at that moment he was attacked by the Tribrigade (personal note: I guess Sargas should be included here too) and was destroyed. Aluber was on the verge of receiving more of their attacks, but...
To save Aluber, Quem took the cannon blasts herself. Albaz catches the falling saint and is enveloped in incandescence.
As Maximus went on a rampage, having become a hideous draconic deity, both the light of the incandescent dragon and Fleurdelis, who had freed herself from Quaertis thanks to Aluber's treachery, stood against the godlike Maximus as a Despian free of evil.
Facing Maximus, who was soaring uncannily through the sky with abyssal power, the Tribrigades and Aluber also launched an all-out attack.
((Most of this isn't in the cards))
The battles were all over, and the curtains had dropped on the end of the eternal revenge tragedy. The red boy, having completed his revenge tragedy and sitting on the throne of one who could not become god, waxing melancholic about his memories of the white-haired girl, he released her soul into a now peaceful sky. Behind his arrogant smile is reflected a deep sorrow.
While the curtain of the boundless open land shines down on the curved horizon, the Hole of the abyss is closed, and is hidden behind a lonely throne...
This is all fan theory yeah?
Oh lmao
This mostly conforms to what I had thought minus the Quem/Aluber connection which I didn't make
And I dunno about "releasing her soul"
Kinda cute, tho falls off at the end, but then again what doesn't, with how little they gave us to work with.
Aluber looked pretty happy holding onto it at the end there
Yeah
I guess they both got their waifus back
Ad Lib stalling for Aluber not Maximus is a neat touch, tho.
Yeah!
His true loyalties being with Aluber should recontexualize some early stuff.
A lot of it doesn't, but parts of it are fine, I guess.
For me it mooostly kind of lines up
The entire post-fight theory I don't agree with
And I dunno if Fleur necessarily had any help from Aluber to free herself or overcome Quaertis
Aluber fights with Maximus offscreen is mad cope, tho.
I dont agree with much of the background
Is the most disagreeable part.
We still don't know what the fuck is Albaz's title of Illegitimate Child is refering to.
Yeah that part's pretty iffy, but removing that makes a whole chunk of other stuff pretty tenuous to boot
And now there's one more with the title.
And is arguably the most mysterious part of the LORE rn.
Albaz's white isn't quite the same shade of white.
Tho, in generalities it is White and White themeing.
Quem has white hair like the Dogmatika saints tend to have
Well
White-ish
But yeah I dont buy Aluber having anything to do with Quem
Albaz's hair is white with red streaks
Two half or twins do feel more likely to me.
And I think Aluber getting Ad Libitum on his side happened after the big fight, not before
Tho, what makes Albaz "illegitimate" or Aluber "legitimate" is anyone's guess.
I mean
If Albaz is Aluber's illegitimate son
It kind of checks out in terms of title
Oh god
This is my new cope
Albaz is Aluber's bastard son
Voring your own son is kind of weird though
Aluber/Albaz look the same age which is around 15.
Not gonna lie
Also Alubers hair is red and black
Age might just not be a thing in the abyss
Konami's idea of a father is someone in their 30s or an old man.
Anyway yeah the Ad Libitum part just doesnt work for me since
Yeah probably twins
I buy the ad libitum thing for the most part though the hair connection feels kind of cope
If Aluber was a girl/Quem being a mother, I can see it. This was the same company that gave us Dance Priestess of Nekroz being married to Great Sorcerer of Nekroz.
Not that I think it's likely, mind you.
I could see Aluber being a half brother or smthg.
Hold on
Lemme get the right art
There we go
If you look closer at Branded Etude, its clearly this Aluber
Not the old Aluber from before the fight
Etude is def from this time.
The question is if Ad Lib's loyalties were always with him or not.
So yeah my guess is actually just that Aluber sought out Ad Libitum after the fight
Its sequel-baiting
I could see it being either way.
Im guessing that in the next series, Aluber, Fleurdelis and Ad Libitum will be working together
My bets' on the former, so his true loyality is with the legitimate child over Pope who got a little too much in the head.
Fleur is hard to say, if she's good or even alive rn.
Don't think they'd bring her back just to kill her off.
Shamelessly reposting the translation on twitter anyway I worked on this might as well
No body so shes alive
Plus we never saw her hurt
I dont think theyll just kill her off
But I do think shed become a sympathetic antagonist
But yeah part of the reason I think Ad Libitum joined up later is
It's more people speculating when she's not on last card.
Yeah wtf happened to Fleur
... Ad Libitums actions dont really line up with Alubers motivation?
I'm on the camp of good/alive. Prob recovering from getting undespiaed or smthg.
Antagonist
If anyone understands Alubers' motivations, I'd be mad impressed.
Man gives Mr. Complex motives a run for his money.
They also conveniently dodged answering any of it in VBEX2.
Hopefully, we get some answers regarding it in the Bystial section of VBEX3 and what is Fleur current status at the end.
When do they usually announce vbex's?
Yeah Maximus is "close"
Maybe indicating a status of false godhood or smthg.
Nexus going from Zefraath stats to Sophia stats feels like it should have done something more besides showing up and dying.
Like my best guess is that Aluber wanted to reclaim his power
(Represented by his horns)
And now he is doing ... something in the Hole
Because he now has his powers too
Also, what's the deal with Fallen of Argyros.
No idea, but it seems to be an anti-Spright force
Therion Irregular maybe?
Judging by purpl energy
Surely, Albaz has them again. Well, Cartesia had them, then post killing/saving her, he goes Dragon mode, but at the end we see his horn gem is black now, not missing like post Alba Lenatus. So, my guess was Ecclesia still has them, and they need to resonate or whatever to let him transform again.
Would be cool to see them as a tag team in the next part, and he needs her to transform.
Was it missing?
Oh yeah I guess it was
Idk, I still think Aluber has them
My guess is his motivation will be revealed in Abyss 2
Argyroz is I guess like an honorary Springans right
Since Springans are also just residue energy residing inside metal shells

So what IS that red gem floating near Aluber's hand anyways? Was it shown in any other artwork?
Hmm, true that.
i mean we never saw under the mask
Unrelated but has Quem ever interacted with Quaeritis
i swear i am going to have to start using the slash command
ye
we saw in the reference art way back when that it did have a dragonesque form but banishment was the first it was actually used
That'd actually be quite a good twist Aluber would be an Anti-Hero and maybe choose to help defeat Quem.
Same
Alright, lemme have it.
So during the battle, Albaz caught Cartesia's hand and they both floated down by the looks of the recording on the top right. 👀
At least...I think it was during the final battle?
Also...apparently the eye on their new ship is a whole new character. Is it a Despia dude?
Apparently it's the 317th saint
It's looking in a certain direction, so they're using it as a compass for their journey?
a[grand guignol]
Seems it was part of the wings before
Fleur is probably going back to the Icejade to recover/purify, then she'll head out to gather the remaining Swordsouls. Cause as much sense that it makes for some faction to be killed off, I think the Era of the Swordsouls aren't done yet.
My own personal theory is Fleur could also head to the Icejades to reclaim Mo Ye, and either fuse their souls together or help what remains of Mo Ye to discover her own Swordsoul weapon.
As bad as it is to say with the casualties the Icejades suffered, there should enough material for Mo Ye's weapon and an army of Swordsouls.
Tbh I kinda doubt there’s any coming back from becoming aegirocrassis
Maybe but we thought the same about Cartesia too at one point. Or if anything the Icejade Queen could chage her shape again probably. Only time will tell.
Cartesia didn’t turn ecclesia into crystal/ice
Which is why I kind of assume it’s a one way transformation
Rather than Ecclesia being possessed
Fair
317th Saint
They are using it as a compass because it’s always looking in a specific direction
(According to others above)
huh
Mercourier the Tribrigade Projector
"Tabileccia and Tabilbaz"
WAIT
WHAT
THEY PICKED THIS RED THING UP FROM THE 317TH SAINT
AND IT ONLY POINTS IN A CERTAIN DIRECTION

Ah yeah using it as their craft's compass
No clue who the 317th saint is lmao
In the Mercourier movie, the third scene is just them picking it up from the ground
So I guess it has a consciousness and just introduced itself as #317
They’ll probably be more important for Albaz arc 2
So "Travelesia and Travelbas"
Hell this works better in English than in does in Japanese
That.. might be the 317th saint
arc 2 ? eh ?
imagine growing up as a saint in the church, being sacrificed, and then reborn as a fucking eyeball
a sus one
Oh no
Fleur isn't with them
Seems like the leading theory is that they're searching for Fleur (who might be Quem now, or maybe still Luluwalilith), I guess it'd make sense for the eyeball to be able to sense her since they were part of the same being
This is so much setup for Part 2.
villainess fleur
Also, them watching the recap is so cute.
AlbazXEcclesia bros eating happy.
I still want to think Fleur is somewhat good. But currently drifting.
It could be she’s not in full control of herself
Fraktall just dead I guess
Trying to rid herself of the Despiafication is possible.
Yeah it’s probably the case
What does the part pointing at Albazs horn say?
It looks like he got rid of the gem framing in his holder as well.
I just can't make out what that text is saying lol
Now I'm sad at how robbed ib was
Makes me want a WL2 with lib but that story already ended
Does anyone know what the fourth image is?
Kitt infront of some metal parts and a cross for some reason.
Also, Konami dropping LORE like the 317th Saint in reference art of all places.
Seems like she's building the mech Albaz and Ecc fly in, you can see the head
No idea about the cross specifically
Ded peeps? 😭
ah yes the saint... the saint we didn't know shit about...
like why the number does even matter
it might as well not mean anything simce there are 663 of em that are randos we never got to wee
Pretty much just to confirm it’s none of the saints we’ve actually seen
Otherwise it’s irrelevant
i think its just cuz he came outta nowhere. and had no one in this abyss world.
His first dragon form is even called Bastard.
Plus isnt the literal translation "Fallen Child"
At least thats what the wiki gives me
not that he called himself that. the dogmatika ppl did. and those a were Xenophobes

even albus as a name was given to him by Ecclesia
so he is a fallen of nothing really
more like Albus the Fallen ... and he did actually fall from the sky
it can't be literal.
also speaking of Quem, you know she's a child right ?
whoever said she might aluber's mother is reaching alot
Is time linear within the stigmata
never forget Quem's original hair color is orange, the white is from getting a fake body.
...
i mean we don't know her Dogamatika name (as a non-Ritual). so Quem is the closest thing.
Not to mention it was used in the lore before we had any card witj Quem in its name.
White Relic is more of a description than a name really.
for all you know, she was always called Quem
You know what's a missed opportunity, Dogmatika Pendulums
just think about the ways you could use em
something like: use the pendulum effect, then they end up in Extra Deck, so you send them to the GY, and then they trigger other effect..
it would have been fitting with all the dogma hypocrisy going on, since they ended up sacrificing their own ppl...
so basically Nemurelia alpha version
I was hoping for Dogma and/or Despia counter Trap that negated summons.
Since you can negate the summon of a fusion or Rit summon but can stop the others.
Not even my idea tho, it was from one of the bot cards.

Dang, they didn't even name this redhead in the Lorebook either?
girl literally exist just to be vessel
The saddest existence when even the writer doesn't give af who you are, you're just a puppet to be used.

I feel bad for all sidelined side characters in general.
Lara is another example of writer forgor their own character
Isn't always bad thing tho, Phlogis survive the onslaught because no one remember him

He may still doing deforestation to this day oh no

nah Lara is just dead
I think the gripe with Lara is more that she is never mentioned in the master guides, even though she is pretty prominent in the card arts.
Even Theo & Adin still acknowledged
This, her dying to save people isn't a problem. It's just she literally gets ignored in favor of waifubait Ariel & Winda
a[ritual beast's return]
Probably heading to the Icejades/gathering remaining Swordsouls.
I just realized that we only see one of Mo ye's eyes
Her right eye is always covered up by her helmet mask thing
Kitt got that Riyo's Tamamo face
It would been nice to see what Mo Ye's real Swordsoul weapon would be.
We'll never know, since she's an Icejade now.
and dead
I like to believe her soul is in that Icejade monstrosity somewhere
So I read some comments in a thread about mo ye design
First we have "Silent Magician was a girl?"
Now we have "Mo Ye wears a bodysuit?"
Can't blame them
That's only obvious in the concept art
True that, I really thought she was just a scalie, but she was more human than we thought.
Sadly, that doesn't matter now. Now she's just a giant sculpture.
btw, which Icejade remade Mo Ye into a sculpture?
O hecc, this was confirmed in-lore?
Yep
I suppose it's to be assumed since she has "Aegi" in her name.
Presumably Longyuan left her in rough shape taking his other sword back
If that's the case then there must be a clan of Human Wyrm Swordsoul hybrids out there which would fit Mo Ye's Peculiar Ancestry status.

[ritual tamer lara] ?
hope for some new ritual beast stuff
Pretty sure Lara is facking dead
I thought she survived
She was last seen facing off against the Source of Destruction
She has not shown up in any card arts since
I thought it was Infernoid Tierra before she became the Source of Destruction.
Yikes
Probably been posted before but aaaa
big fucking robot
Literal cockpit
what is that?
yo the hell.
hold up what is this?
[rescue ace fire engine]
Level: 7
[ Machine / Effect ]
ATK 2500 / DEF 2500
If a "Rescue-ACE" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your field, except "Rescue-ACE Fire Engine" (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's field (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Rescue-ACE" monster from your hand, Deck, or GY. You can only use each effect of "Rescue-ACE Fire Engine" once per turn.
Zone of the enders!
Sky Striker Chapter 10: Home is done! Lot of talking in this one as we finally ramp up to Raye vs Zeke
#yugioh #yugiohtcg #skystriker
Do we know if this run has a set chapter count?
no

Hell yeah
New lore book Owo
It seems like it's pretty easy to fill in the puzzles now. ||Roze and Raye fight, with Roze using Zeke to try to beat her. Roze will probably lose and Raye tries to give a hand for her to quit Spectra, but then Azalea drops in to finish them both off, which will lead to Sky Striker Mobilize - Linkage's art and the alt art of Shizuku.||
YES VBEX 3 ANNOUNCEMENT
MY BODY IS READY

Books are cheap (comparatively) in Japan
YES
YAAAA
Who are these two?
God I don't know these names

OH it's rush duel
She's a little tall
Slender build
She makes her appearance to the tune of a violin when Bandijo and Prophecy are in trouble
Always acts like an honourable thief
Psychic power arrows
what does it say
Oh they're listening to a recording of the combat log
Kitt in the recording: "She won't die.. probably. It'll be fiiiiiine"
Albaz on recording: "ECCLESIAAAAAAA"

Oop grammatical hiccup
Fixed

Never thought to see the day they made an archetype out of Wacky Races but here we are

Ahh that could be, knowing Japan
I just have more attachment to Wacky Races since they started the whole, well, Wacky Races things
Redline and wacky races aren't that far apart in that there's a variety of racers and machines involved in a race
Also you can't tell me this is not just anime Muttley
TCG exclusives tends to be hit and miss yeah
And it's not even about the strenght but rather the time they are released
Like, convince me that War Rock isn't some kind of idea that has been around since GX era but they only decided to be printed when EARTH Warrior stuff is no longer relevant
Right
If Gold Pride is a Redline reference then Leon and Carrie must be the main character
I'm really hoping Gold Pride ends up being a good archetype
Dogmatika Maximus and Dramaturge of Despia are the same person
Ashiyan and Ad Libitum are the same person
Nexus and Proskenion are the same person/thing
Despian Quaeritis and White Knight are the same person
I was waiting you're about to say "Then what are White Relic turned into?"
RIP typo
But also reading this just makes me upset about Mekk Knight Avram all over again
What if the next big boss in the lore is so strong he makes his own deck?
Ok so a pitch
Usual protag storyline
Guy wants to save stuf
Stuff*
He goes and saves stuff
He meets with a mcguffin and a villain who wants it
He loses however and the final boss becomes so strong he breaks the 4th wall
He gets access to ban worthy cards by being on the field
why does Raye have a green/cybernetic like eye in the art of linkage?
Isnt she supposed to be a human?
We simply do not know
She has green eyes.
The other eye being half red is prob a remnant of removing the limiters on Kagari and going into Alt Kagari.
I don't get it
Yeah but Ash being a thing is
do not walk this path
Live Twins are not worth the lore headache
So woth these artworks we know 3 things must exist in their universe
Curran and Pikaru, Ash and Ogre and the M-warriors
Oh also Sky Strikers
OH ALSO THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
ORCA MEGA FORTRESS OF DARKNESS (the wiki says)
So this connects them to the other fishes
Mainly Daedalus
What does Daedalus have? A Metaphys version
And we also have Orca in DD
Who is in DD? Lady
Who does Lady meet? Dai Grepher
please stop for your own good
Dai connects to guardians
Dai has many forms
IF WE TAKE KNIGHT DAY GREPHER
HE APPEARS IN PREMATURE RETURN
WHO ELSE IS IN PREMATURE RETURN?
FUCKING GAGAGIGO!
My bad Gigobyte
GIGOBYTE!
THIS GIVES A LOTTA USELESS CONNECTIONS
Like some normals and Eria
BUT IF I TAKE GAGAGIGO
Gagagigo fights the Goblin Attack Force
THOSE GUYS FIGHT GEMINI ELF
Imma ignore toons
BUT THEY MEET THE TYRANT
The tyrant has a pot of greed
IN MISTAKEN ARREST WE SEE ONE OF THOSE
SANGAN IS IN IT
This makes Tour Guide canon
But I'm not done
hasn't somebody already done the connection graph
Not from Live Twins I think
I wanna get to DM
This guy does not get enough stuff in cards outside DMG stuff
Yeah so Live Twins are related to a lotta stuff just thanks to Orca
Funny thing
I ignored the anime and all cards were the card itself, not the monster, appears
yes from Live Twins
They connect to Dark Magical Circle via Instant Fusion
Which means they connect to literally everything in the game
Instant Fusion into Circle?
One of the backgrounds in one of the Live Twins advertises Instant Fusion
Instant Fusion appears in Recycling Plant
Endymion's Tower is in the background of Recycling Plant
I cannot see where Insta is
In Plant I mean
Ohhhh
so just to confirm, reichheart survives the events of the waves of support, as we see him in a kashtira card im pretty sure, and in the manadome field spell and traps we see a blue guy fighting riumheart, so riechheart is the final boss possibly.
the blue guy can't be astround tho, can it? since the monster requires visas as mat which means it might be visas.
Also one of the Kashtira kidnapped/attacked one of the Tearalment and corrupted her into a Kashtira too right?
What ever happened to her?
No one God damn knows. They really just put the Kashtira hybrids in and no artwork of how or why they exist.
Visas lore really can be encapsulated as "things just happens"
Another month till we find out
It should it'd be slightly silly of them not to at least introduce the next story after Albaz lore
I don't expect we'll get full Visas lore up to Manadome etc. but I at least expect maaaaaybe Scareclaw and Kash lore
Okay, since the Hungry Burger archetype(?) main strategy seemingly is to tribute opponent monster to turn them into burger, we can conclude they're cannibals
Which explains why it is warrior type
It is the closest equivalent of normal human
PLEASE
Can't believe they've made the Hungry Burger chef hotter
i don't think that's theming.
it's more like the chef makes these demon foods, but if the opponent touchs them, they have to pay ( offering a monster) then the chef serves thems the next dish. when the chef is done, he makes the Burger for himself to eat, then closes restaurant (thus the mass tribute effect on the counter trap)
Ngl he reminds me more of Shanks lol
Shanks if he still had 2 hands:
His fanservice will fullfill your hunger
Wow lmao
I cannot believe he became french
Does tear/visas have any lore excerpts yet
No.
Where exactly are the charmers
According to the Duel Terminal Master Guide, "Winda, Priestess of Gusto" is her older sister, and "Windaar, Sage of Gusto" is her father. She disliked being bound by her family lineage and left for the outside world. She doesn't have "Gusto" Crests in her eyes, and she's familiar with "Dragons". In Master Guide 2, she came from the first "Duel World", not "Terminal World
This is another path you don't want to go down

Eria connects to Gagagigo and thus everything
She's somehow a sibling to someone in DT.
Dharc connects to Goblins, and thus the fucking meta-world where Duel Terminal has merchandise
And Scraps and Geargia are in a show together
Even tho, Charmers connect to base Yugioh world which has Gem-Knight Lapis doll, thus showing DT is a fictional world within said base world.
So this implies that
- Winn is a cameo
- Winn is a headcanon
- Winn put herself in this fictional world
Not necessarily
I like to think they just retconned it.
This reads to me as a retcon they made after realizing what the fuck this means
Because I just read the Master Guide 2 entry and it literally doesn't imply stuff
How btw
Or alternatively.
Though she showed rare talent, she didn't like being tied down by her family, and decided to leave for the outside world.
The outside world is literally another universe on a metascale.

Dharc and Lyra were slaves to Goblin of Greed, based on Dark Spiritual Art showing where they were imprisoned.
The implication being they escaped from him, potentially with Dharc losing a hand.
a[dark spiritual art greed]
So if DT is fictional in
The "yugioh" world
Then it becomes a thing of
Isn't the yugioh world fictional to another world?
Where is this doll
a[Gift Exchange]
Okkkkkk sooooooo
Watts
Madolche
DT
Geargia
Scraps
All relatd to goblins
Are these the same goblins are goblin of greed?
a[Kingyo Sukui]
a[Fukubiki]
Also Ojamas are connected to Six Samurai, Performapal, and every single Beast-type
Amazment is in base Yugioh world.
Which furthers references a bunch more archetypes.
Like Ghostrick, Six Sam, Nephthys, F.A., Plunder.
Performapals connect to Dream Clown, which connects to The Tyrant from the Continuous Traps, who I believe hires Marauding Captain
Isn't it the other king who hires them?
The one on Order and Decree?
Oh, it is the Tyrant one. My b.
a[Tyrant's Temper]
Smthg connects to the Royal King.
He then connects to the D.D. forces and rest of D.D./Banish related cards. But can't remember what he connects by.

a[cry havoc]
So Dai Grepher and all the bullshit he gets up to connects to MC
Is this from D/D card?
Here's Royal King with one of the Goblin Attack Force goblins.
I know there's one that feature same king with D.D.
дбаки
Also, references actual D&D.
Isn't Azathoth in a Dark Contract, as a character sheet?
Is Nyarla
a[Dark Contract with the Entities]
I assume Nyarla is like in-universe mind flayer
Also, a[Dark Contract with Yamimakai] and a[D/D/D Headhunt]
D.D. connects to all sorts
Connects to Union LORE.
Yamimakai retrain when
Return from a Different Dimension has so much shit in it
