standard is the entry point for everyone basically, and we're just about to go through rotation so now is the best time of all to get into it

going from there I'd recommend standard brawl to dip your toes into singleton formats with a commander since it's super easy to collect for, then branch out from there

I'm in mythic #800 or so rn and the Kaito only ever feels bad against stuff like Gruul or something super aggro heavy

I wouldn't wanna run more than 1

But I think he's underrated

Ensuring that other Kaito, Preacher, or Cecil gets to connect through a messy board (or anything to get a curiosity draw) can matter a lot

And he can easily make blockers for himself

My thought process is that stockup is only usable (literally) when I draw and am able to stick hauntwoods early

In those same game states bargain would be the same cost as stockup and would be playable (albeit at a bad rate) if I need to fix my hand and don’t have overlord

Also has synergy with putting sagas in gy for yuna

so the one real issue that weapons manu has is that its an enchantment

this means u cant do the synthesizer thing but it also means for other artifact synergy, they dont work for them directly
