Kind of slayer/may adjacent has a mappa hunch equivalent that pushes him out of throw range yk kind of standard

But he has a command grab that leaves you in a +27 on block situation that beats every non 200 meter wake-up option as far as I can tell

And from what I can tell can lead to 3 touches when optimized and loops into itself because of how command grabs work in this game

So he’s basically potemkin with S dolphin

But also I haven’t touched a FG in months and I remember feeling really discouraged when I last played strive

Venom seems like a Johnny/Sin situation where he just needs simple number changes to be really good

I wouldn’t say he seems particularly bad regardless but he is kind of playing like a 4 touch game and has no reversal

He has some really strong frame data though

H carcass is +8 pb if dustloop is to be believed…

Joely I just checked and stinger is literally faster overall in strive than xrd

Mbaac feels really balanced until you try to optimize it

I played comp for a while and it felt genuinely impossible to have stable results with the first character I played to the degree that I switched

And then did end up seeing much more consistent success and felt much better about myself

To be serious though: looping your oki is the best part of her you're a setplay menace
the yoyo that hits on the way back is deceptively strong
you need to mind control ur opp with how unpredictable u are with roll or scooter

Do not play risky because you will never win risk reward

Whether it’s neutral offense etc

You have super safe options that are hard to reliably deal with but you’re gonna wanna go balls deep and try to break their ankles

Avoid doing that

Bridget dies in half the time of the avg character and kills people in twice the time it takes the average character to do so

Also you have to work to make your opponent respect roll in neutral, the hurtbox is genuinely massive now

Some characters have extremely free counterplay

TLDR you just have to learn to effectively cycle your tools in neutral

And represent all your options on offense/defense

I usually would mind only 10 characters for a tag fighter but because it’s free and this means it’ll probably release in a couple months I really don’t mind that much

But it’s still crazy ngl

Atleast I hope it releases in a couple months if they’re only doing 10 characters

like a normal hit box is only 16inches but it has the buttons right in the fuckin middle

There's several substantial anime-only arcs after the Soul Society saga, and sometimes they happen without any warning whatsoever

As you said, you're trying to 4/5 touch while slayer is gonna 2 touch you
Are you utilising WA on your offense? Obv it increases your turn but you also get to set more yoyos
Also use that backdash, it may feel silly but taking advantage is how you get your opp to think twice about mauling you, also wakeup backthrow on sloppy meatys

Bedman is a really snowball heavy character so you have to know his options at roundstart/neutral to play against him effectively

His frame data really isn’t that fast but look on dustloop/lab it out

uhh idr last time I played bridget/bedman but while bed does have a projectile it's very basic, it doesn't lead to anything unless you let it, same with followup and a lot of the time I think bridget is in trade range
obviously trading isnt the best thing ever as bed has way more health
J.s & wwa are the main ways he'll get in
careful rolling in, bed 6p is pretty consistent
but I think bridget can be the aggressor, bed's defense is mainly just having many hp, bed has to just hold a lot of pressure if it's legit
