Mainly just don’t really get the drive rush stuff

drive rush is a multipurpose tool

you use it to hitconfirm
close distance
apply and keep pressure
extend combos

For example with Cammy
I do a lot of cr.MK xx drive rush in neutral

if the cr.MK hits, I get a combo
it it's blocked, I get pressure
if it whiffs, I don't overextend because the drive rush doesn't come out

another thing you'll see people do is, when they think they can close out a round
they'll do a repeating sequence of drive rush cancels to squeeze a little more damage out before ending with a super
I think for Cammy cr.HP st.HP is her loop

it's sorta like burst
a multipurpose tool whose application depends on when you're using it and the unique tools your character has to compliment it

don't worry too much about doing everything with drive rush right now

just find a couple things to start with
and get comfortable with those

One of the only characters in the game who actually plays neutral

She’s not fast but her movement can be hard to deal with because divekick is very strong, she has good large buttons that she can combo off of very easily, and she has strong pressure that’s pretty good into PB

Depending if you play her point vs mid/anchor she changes a lot

On anchor she’s pretty belligerent, you can sit anywhere on screen with charged sing and they just can’t commit to any action

When you do charges just always prioritize punch charge as charge sing and DP are far stronger than any of the charge kick options

She has one of the best lockdown assists in the game and SBO is a very strong DHC option

She pairs well with basically anyone lol

Her best resets can be a bit tricky to fully get the hang of compared to other characters but they’re also much harder to block as well

Basically she’s a neutral monster in a game where most characters don’t even play neutral @carmine dove

What normally defines viability is how much you can or can’t interact with the items
