Make it make sense

They ended up also fixing this issue in dark war but that led to an absolutely heinous design of Izayoi

And also maybe the most unfortunate character name of all time

Different types of execution

I’d argue at its highest level sf6 is much more intensive

But at entry sf6 might be around the same or a little easier

Solely execution wise, when it comes to the rest of the game sf6 is MUCH more difficult than strive

But strive has somewhat more complicated inputs/requires faster APM, but sf requires a lot of links which are more difficult to work with than the Gatling system

If you’re asking to form an opinion to purchase I would not recommend using execution as the sole factor though

I kind of wanna play sf6 again I’ve been in a footsies mood

But there is also a huge disparity between the worst characters and the best

Like strive players like to say that the worst characters in the game can still consistently place in tournaments

I would not have quite the same confidence in P4U bottom tiers

How accurate is the star rating system in guilty gear labeling character difficultly to play

Is it like master duel where it means less then nothing, or some grain of truth to it

every character in strive is really easy to pick up and play

except for maybe asuka, millia, jack-o, and goldlewis if you don't like doing half-circles

Asuka feels complicated on the basis of having a huge meter to manage tied to the 4 buttons and being able to cancel half his moves into each other

Asuka is easily the hardest character in the game

Generally the star rating is pretty accurate relative to the difficulty of the game itself but most characters aren’t too difficult

Normally characters in strive are either gonna be like moderately difficult in terms of how the gameplan itself works (think jack-o for example) or they’ll have above average execution requirements (millia and hc require pretty high apm for example)

Very few characters are actually difficult in both senses

Generally though the characters with resources they have to manage independently are considered on the harder end of the roster

Think zato, happy chaos, jacko asuka
