i only saw the teaser this morning before work but i finally got around to watching the gameplay

i'm definitely getting this miyabi skin because it is gorgeous but i really wish they'd use the opportunity to rework the particle fx of the character when the costume has a new color scheme

the white/gold skin theme kinda doesn't match the ice blue of her base fx... if those were changed to like gold slashes this skin would hit so much harder

side note, while i will absolutely be pulling for promeia, i am a bit bummed they didn't really change her ult animation since the first set of leaks

i still think it looks goofy

the rest of her animations are cool enough that she's still badass on balance though

and the fact they gave her an aurafarm slow walk while her cape-shuriken is spinning is hilarious

||I have many questions, even more concerns, and no idea how this is going to end||

||I think Yoyo is definitely gonna shank someone, the question is who. Does she attack Anis, Mustang, or Hanson? Attacking Mustang would probably lead into the 'Hanson is Mustang' route, while attacking either of the other two would give Mustang indisputable proof that hey, his methods are genuinely awful and will continue to ruin his legacy for as long as he persists in them||

||and thus give him the decisive factor needed to grow as a person||

||relatedly, Hanson going to Elysion and Missilis to air Anis' history across the interwebs really didn't sit right with me. Especially after he said he was going to do his best to do right by Anis and T.T. Star... I know that was the whole point, but I want to say it. And if the idols took Mustang at his word and signed that contract without waiting for Hanson to get back from job scouting, I'm gonna be even more disappointed lol||

||plus i mean... opportunity of a lifetime and all that. hard to pass up from their perspective||

||and hanson was definitely indulging a more selfish side of himself by leaking anis/yoyo's past against anis's wishes. he clearly wanted to get back at mustang, hence the comment that some side of him really does enjoy watching people suffer. but now it's mustang's turn to outmaneuver him and make his life hell||

||i fully anticipate part 2 will be a very tough read. based on what we know about TT star's past from the main campaign story chapters, TT star & hanson are going to be put through the wringer||

||btw some additional observations on this front that support the hanson replacement theory:

• current mustang and hanson have the same VA (honestly didn't know this til i read some comments saying it, guy has great range)
• anis calls both current mustang and hanson "boss"
• in hanson's outburst to past mustang during the event, he called tt star "my girls"... exactly how current mustang refers to his nikkes||

||as meta mentioned the other day, the only major wrench in the theory right now is why the fuck current mustang is in perma-french accent mode, given hanson knows not even past mustang does that. if he was trying to impersonate past mustang then he'd turn the accent "off" for private conversations with people who know it's an act... and if he's not trying to impersonate past mustang (i.e., he knows people know he's a different person), then why the hell does he even bother, lol. current hanson seems way too uptight to act that way just for love of the game||
