i'm too lazy to type out detailed thoughts like in the past but i'll just say i liked it and imo it was the best chapter since at least season 1 epilogue part 1
though i feel bad for anyone (misty) who doesn't really care about YSG since they force her down your throat a bit much, way more than miyabi and yixuan

also ||the way it handled the "final battle" where all the factions gathered together was so much better than 1.4 it's hard to even compare the two beyond the superficial. the only real odd inclusion here was miyabi, but that was transparently to work tailless into the story since they apparently want to start up a plotline about void hunter weapons||
as a whole this chapter felt a lot like 1.4 but better in every way (unless you don't like/care about shunguang)
but even if you're less invested in YSG than you were miyabi, the story is told and unfolds much more naturally
||it's nothing too fancy, basically "the power of friendship and love overcomes all evil", got a bit philosophical and into the whole "humanity's superpower is free will, no matter what we will always fight against the darkness!" refrain that a billion stories have done before and will do again||
||it overstayed its welcome at points and i started skipping some dialogue that was just repackaging the same "i choose life and love over surrender and death" sentiment for the umpteenth time||
||but it meshed with the characters and plotline involved well so it didn't feel forced, and it all worked even if it wasn't anything super deep or unique||
and for as much as it resolved neatly, it also set up plenty of interesting plotlines for us to follow moving forward
hopefully ones that will be far more interesting and engaging than the exaltist shit

she's a pretty good support for any attack agent
sorta like astra but worse
base astra gives 1200 ATK, 20% damage, 25% cdmg from her kit
base zhao gives 1000 ATK and up to 40% damage (at 27k HP), but her personal damage is higher than astra's
on paper they're actually quite similar, but astra gets to apply decent buffs from her wengine without needing sig, and is better at maintaining her disk set buffs (astral usually) so she definitely pulls out ahead when both are at base
but zhao would work fine anywhere you'd otherwise slot astra (and vice versa), assuming her being defense rather than support doesn't mess up the additional ability activations
except in eve's BIS team obviously since astra's extra chains synergize with her specifically
all told, zhao is actually a pretty damn good free agent
easily better than haru for building out a roster

yes that's my point, most people just pick a d6 and weapon and yolo for all time
at the point where you're optimizing DA/shiyu, your stunner's d6 and weapon are the first place you go, and if switching them for more impact doesn't get you there then genuinely god help you if you're leaning on zhao for her daze output
incidentally, optimizing of DA stun windows is becoming less relevant since so many bosses now have forced downtime where they're unstunnable

this is how I see it
even without high-level routing, you might get a fourth stun with Zhao against most bosses through the natural variance of play. If you do, that will probably push your score over the edge
with Astra, you're definitely not getting that fourth stun, but her buffs are better in general and so she'll generally do better more consistently
