||i think what they started building with robella--that she's becoming more humanlike and basically developing genuine emotions--is going to be important for all these gen 3 dolls that seem to be aligned against us. they all seem to enemies but are actually playing their own game, from cocoon, to darture, to (what i assume is) groza. and obviously we have the remains of sextans on the elmo too. blusphere seems to be the odd one out as one who listens to orders and kills shit without question||
||also cocoon's design is too good for her to not become playable, surely

overall was a big fan of deep oblivion, i think that's my new favorite 2-parter event so far
deep oblivion > aphelion > mimisbrunnr's loop > sojourners
the first half was kind of draggy but the second half cooked big time
though i've noticed that's true of gfl2 events in general, they take extra time building up for their payoffs
sometimes too much extra time... it can get a bit indulgent with meaningless worldbuilding and character details
but "what buildup was necessary" is only really possible to reflect on with the full picture, and now with the full event done i think most of it was for the better
that said, ||i think the major reveal near the end that leva had forgotten UMP40 fell completely flat for me since i haven't played the first gfl. i think that was meant to be a big "oh shit" moment for gfl1 enjoyers||

everyone gets along with the proxies and each other so far
hugo is the closest we got to subverting that and it was a fake out because his yaoi energy with lycaon is stronger than any bond between other agents
i can see a future where they introduce a character who's isolated from the rest for whatever reason and thus doesn't really need to get along with them (though that'd limit storytelling opportunities)
