the former seems to fit best with the description and the fact her S2 also has a distributed damage proc during burst, but idk

she's more of a direct powercreep to mari, especially against bosses where mari can't hit core
they are different elements though (ade is iron, mari is electric) so could just be an elemental advantage diff
