- ||the introductions to alice and yuzuha were kinda weak tbh. specifically i thought yuzuha was quite annoying at first. they tried to frame her as a "tough love but actually cares a lot"-type character, with her harsher lines always actually being motivated by underlying concern for the person they're directed to. unfortunately i find that character archetype more annoying than endearing in most cases, and yuzuha was one such case because she seemingly had no reason to be acting that way, not even the ol reliable "afraid to open up to people" or whatever else might motivate someone to keep people at a distance||
- ||the introduction of the hairpin breadcrumb was very contrived. obviously necessary but probably could've been done better than alice... needing to take off her belt at the end of the day? wat?||
- ||the resolution to yixuan's piece of this story with the ethereal made from the memory of her sister was rushed and sidelined. even what impactful dialog there was played during the climactic battle where a ton of shit is happening so it's hard to pay attention to||
but overall none of those are dealbreakers, far from it since the rest of basically everything was so good

- skill 1 triggers every 10 attacks instead of a 5% chance to trigger every attack. this is the only change but it completely removes the RNG aspect of her kit which is amazing
- skill 2 gives more crit
- burst buff lasts 15 sec instead of 10
honestly as favorite items go these changes are minor, it seems like they realized her SG team buffs were already very good and were balanced by the RNG factor sometimes resetting them. her FI removes that RNG so she is fully consistent, and the burst extension is nice for SG team ofc

- skill 2 was a stacking crit damage buff for herself on every last bullet. now she instead stacks it every 6 crits, and every 8 crits she triggers a bonus attack for extra damage, and if that attack crits it triggers another bonus attack for extra damage. also it force-uses her S1 at the start of a fight which is nice for consistency
- burst used to nuke 5 enemies and deal more damage if her S2 was fully stacked. now it affects random enemies with 5 sequential attacks -- this means she can hit a boss multiple times, whereas her old burst would hit it only once. the "extra damage when S2 is fully stacked" is unclear about whether it applies on each sequential hit or only once, but if it's the former then her burst damage essentially quintupled on bosses which seems nice
definitely a significant series of buffs, but she was garbage before so she needed them. not actually sure how it'll work out, i think a lot will ride on how her burst's extra damage works. her CDMG buff is massive though, goes up to 125% at max stacks, so she could be sneaky in hitting like a truck

these changes seem very mid but she was already a decent PvP unit before and all of these changes make her better in that setting. i can see an outcome where she becomes the premiere PvP tank due to all her self-healing and cover repair, reminds me of noise tbh
all told, seems like the weakest batch of favorite items yet, honestly even if you care about PvP lol
tove's is easily the best from a PvE perspective
and an understated aspect of hers is that the most important stage of her FI is the first, which is what removes her skill 1 RNG
so you don't even need to fully upgrade her FI to get a very solid benefit out of it
the burst extension is phase 2 so even that only needs 50 of her upgrade mats
phase 3 like a very minor upgrade (literally just +7% CR) so you don't need to rush it
