it's easier to start with explaining how astra works since she's really important
the TL;DR of astra is that she basically causes you to play with a party of 2 instead of 3, and encourages constantly swapping between your other 2 members
you press her special button and forget about her and switch to one of your other two team members. for the rest of the battle, whenever she has enough energy, she will prompt a "perfect quick assist" that will swap to your other off-field party member and trigger some damage and a shitload of buffs
so on-field zhu comp works by setting up astra, then constantly swap between nicole (to keep up her DEF shred) and zhu yuan (to deal steady damage). you generate zhu yuan's bullets every time you quick assist her in (from astra/nicole) and by spamming her dodge counter
astra's buffs and nicole's debuffs make her damage go nuts, and they're both ether so they build up corruption quickly too which zhu yuan abuses as well

understated change was that they changed the columns from being per character class to just being per role
so primary vs secondary DPS columns instead of like, attack/anomaly/support/etc
