it is entirely possible for someone to admit fault in some areas (as he did years ago), but claim he was falsely accused in other areas

if he's saying that some of the accusations against him were false (but still takes responsibility for the ones that are true), that's obviously bad in the sense of "sure would've been cool if you hadn't done any bad things" but not as bad as backpedaling entirely

my pvp arenas feel like they're getting much stronger relative to me after some of these reshuffles

can't really sustain any higher than diamond 7 in sp arena and in rookie arena, most of my competition is so far ahead on power it's not possible

i'll get resets where i comfortably sit at d1-2 with very little movement (i could try for lower challenger ranks but i always get knocked down quick so don't bother)

and then i'll get resets where i'm constantly bounced back to d3-5

i try to maintain at least d2 when i can since i think that's the lowest you can go and still get 2k gems at the end of a reset

in general i think you'd be surprised what a proper team can overcome in terms of power deficit if you move it around to fight a team it's strong against

i know in rookie arena i've beat teams that are like 100k power above mine because noah+biscuit is just broken

most people that aren't full time PvPers have a power dump team in my experience

and it's handy to be able to put your dump team against theirs and not really care what the result is since you only need to win 2 out of 3 battles

or sometimes be able to beat their dump team with a real team because proper team comps can overcome significant power deficits

actually a rare solid implementation of a roguelike mode in a gacha imo

i forget which boss corresponds to which weakness

well i lie, land eater was the electric weak one

ok i was curious so i did some math comparing my current cindy and x.maiden

for context, my cindy's skills are 10/7/10 and my x.maiden's are 7/4/4

also, x.maiden's skill says her MP goes up to 12 max, just to clarify the "15" number i threw out earlier

but long story short, only accounting for their own self buffs (cindy buffing her own ATK with s1 and HP with s2, and maiden buffing her own ATK with s2 and HP with s1)

a 12 stack maiden burst does either slightly more than 2x a cindy burst, or slightly less than 3x

if you're wondering why the variance, it's because i'm not sure whether she uses her final ATK in her burst damage formula (so it may not account for her own ATK buff)

the skill description doesn't seem like it should, but hell if i trust nikke skill descriptions

the low end of that damage is assuming it doesn't, the high end assumes it does

the actual numbers came out to:

• x.maiden 12 stack burst (no final ATK) = 50,863,024 damage
• x.maiden 12 stack burst (final ATK) = 62,881,923 damage
• cindy burst with 12 stacks of her self buff = 22,443,630 damage

obviously there's a fair bit of uncertainty here, notably the fact that x.maiden has a significant "damage against strong element" buff for everyone except herself that would benefit a cindy burst but not her own

and of course the uncertainty that i just did my math wrong lmao

but that gap is large enough (even with maiden burst level 4) that i'm comfortable saying a 12 stack maiden burst blows any other option you could use out of the water

and it's easy to see why, in "normal" usage where she's part of a burst rotation, she'd only have 2 MP each time so her burst would be doing literally 1/6 the damage (around 1/3 the damage of a cindy burst on the low end)

but given time to stack, that damage scales up mighty quick

she maxes out at 12 stacks and i'm sure some go to waste since you burst more than 12 times in a long boss fight

only way that'd make a difference from using her burst at the end is if that let you get off three bursts total with her, since if you get off two 6 MP bursts you're still just doing a 12 stack burst lol
