Phoebe has by far the best aerial mobility

If you hold attack in the air she dashes a fair bit forward

You can do that twice in a row, the count resetting with air dodge and tether, so up to 6 times without touching the ground

without jade, hes so far ahead of all other options for therta, its kind of comical

but this is mostly cus he himself is really fucking strong

his best showings are for therta in single target or blast scenarios

of 1-3 enemies

take for instance hoolay in apoc shadow this rotation

you can probably play anaxa + healer vs hoolay and he'd win

castorice got a lot of focus this patch from banner perspective

but his investment reqs are super low + his output is crazy good

134+ speed, wind set, get a bit more crit rate over cdmg especially if he will be a mixed hypercarry, and he will do extremely well

basically just a case of him having extremely good numbers, a ton of tools for other erudition characters, therta in particular (though jade works with him too), and being able to handle practically all single target and blast content

only thing that somewhat sucks about anaxa is that he can be mid to vertically invest into him

not that hes bad, and not that it applies to most players

but like, if a couple months later, you are like "hmm should i get his lightcone? e1? e2?"

the answer is lightcone by far

he is, to a fault, focused solely on his everyday job of killing goblins specifically

most new costumes get an SP reduction at +1 which is quite handy for usability, the levels afterward are just bigger numbers

that said, anaxa follows mydei, castorice, and aglaea in mediocre eidolons

e1 is technically good for therta/anaxa

but so is e2

but they are very minor

16% def shred for 2 turns is... kind of unexciting

same iwth gettting 20% all-type res shred

coupled with her lobby burst ani, the mihara/mermaid advice and bond story complaints, and sensor tower april revenue releasing and nikke being down in revenue even with a week or so of an anni to account for, i'm seeing a lot of nikke dooming atm

ofc most of that is nonsense, especially sensor tower revenue since its entire MO is basically making shit up due to missing entire potentially massive datasets (android in CN, non-mobile sales)

but tbh the game has felt kinda low-effort and stagnant for a hot minute, it makes me wonder if shift up preparing for CN release has taken away dev time or if things are just getting phoned in because that's kinda how gacha games get to be sometimes

or maybe that's just me experiencing other gacha like ZZZ which clearly have higher budgets and more effort put into them

not that nikke is some indie game, but hoyo is a different beast

but even gfl2 (def smaller than nikke) feels like it's had more effort put into it lately, shit boundary push is a whole ass new game mode added recently

this half-anni has felt like the weakest anni event so far... granted i've only experienced two others

also not done the story yet, even if major parts of it have been spoiled for me

so TBD, story-wise i think it could end up above last kingdom at least, if it sticks the landing

feels like the surrounding fanfare that normally comes with anni events has been relatively subdued tho

granted, nikke having half-annis in general is kinda not the norm, so it's to be somewhat expected they're smaller than full annis

honestly i think the very best thing shift up could possibly do to improve player sentiment is... fix the fucking loading times
