so i returned to the (relatively) "dated" strat of supporting an attacker with yipha as
and while with this strat it was first attempt, i had several failed attempts before this
among the other "allies" fights in astral archive (which are some of the hardest)
i'm saving azami until after aldo as kit is revealed so i can see if he makes a decent duel bot for that fight
gariyu hits like a fucking truck even if you play a full on water comp and i'm not sure i have the units to make him manageable
aldo is absolutely horrible because of the party requirements (dragon and guiding light)
i cannot overstate how ridiculously bad the aldo challenge fight is if you're keeping to party bonus
maybe utpalaka makes it easier, but i haven't leveled mine up yet
it's not even like dragon/guiding light are the worst traits to be locked to, except the aldo fight is full of weird shit that makes it extremely hard as of the last time i attempted it
and the actually decent defensive characters in either of those traits can be counted on one hand
so i'd be banking on utpalaka (and i guess eva since she has her rebalance and manifest weapon, haven't stellar awakened her yet)
oh and galliard/helena fight i haven't even begun to try yet
