sure but enemies further take more damage while stunned which is an additional multiplier you want since so much of his damage is concentrated in his dash attacks

his teams aren't about what works with his passive, they're about setting up windows to get as many high-damage dash attacks in as possible

in the future we may get an anomaly character that can share field time with harumasa and just apply anomaly to let him spread out his damage more evenly

gfl2 has like 6 potential stat lines on any given piece of gear, and gear gets 3 or 4 lines depending on what piece it is

so it's pretty damn easy to get good gear (getting fully optimal gear is still a PITA though)

generally, a character is complete at 0 dupes. but some characters will love their cinemas for convenience of a specific effect

cus you will, at least for a time, be using them in the exact same team comp of anby/nicole

like just swapping zhu yuan and haru for content that tailors electric vs ether

a cheap second team investment is piper/lucy combo

once the game starts asking you for the 2nd team

piper/seth/lucy for instance

without knowing the spread of your investments it's hard to say for sure but i'd consider something like

1. crown/liter/cindy/rapihood/rapunzel (base) or privaty (base) - privaty has anti-synergy with cindy but crown+privaty+resilience cube gives 100% reload for everyone else which is nice. rapunzel's heal will trigger crown's buff and help keep you alive if you need that
2. tia/naga/QEQ/rouge/x.lud - the boss has an exposed core and QEQ/x.lud are both major exposed core damage dealers which tia/naga buff massively
3. wife D/maid mast/maid anchor/SBS/alice OR blanc/noir instead of mast/anchor, honestly not sure which will end up better, you may want to mock battle it

btw re: rapunzel for burst gen, make sure to focus her for maximum burst gen benefit

even if you're auto battling, SRs/RL gain bonus burst gen equal to their shot's charge%, but only if you're focusing them

alternatively

you can micromanage RRH and make sure she manually reloads before your full burst window runs out

fundamentally not a big fan of content that gates 99% of the playerbase, but that's just me

nikke has a really bad habit of adding vertical progression content (specifically at the very top) instead of horizontal

basically every new significant content drop (campaign, tower floors, interception modes, sim room overclock) only benefits endgame players

it's a very real criticism i have of their model

i get they probably don't want to risk overwhelming new players (unlocking new modes as a new player is already staggered like hell, you're still unlocking things like 20 chapters into the story lol)

but it's a real bummer that nikke is already a reasonably stagnant game, i think by design since they want people to settle into that predictable gameplay loop to keep coming back every day

but what new content they do add is only accessible to a small minority of players

major FYI for GF2, but save all of your chips you get after you've gotten enough SSR weapons that you need. you can convert them to vouchers later on for rolling on characters. and there is no limit to how many you can buy.

Alright I'm stopping for now as we head into the dream with Black Swan. Some thoughts:

1. I like the atmosphere. They did a good job of making sure this world was very different than what I was expecting

2. The cast so far has been set up well. I like the race between factions.

3. Having the whole crew (besides Danny) be hands on feels like a bigger deal and feels nice.

That being said, I didn't really like the whole deal with Firefly so far. Everyone and their mother has her so her secret is obvious to me but I also feel like I understand the main reason people grabbed her is some incel shit. I hope there's more because the other Stellaron Hunters have been quite cool.

since boothill's big use will be in single target boss content

so hes often there entirely for a good time but not a long time
