it's a ball that you have to kill in one attack otherwise it starts moving around at mach 10 shooting your nikkes (and killing them very quickly)

distributed damage however just doesn't give a shit about the one-hit mechanic

not having absurdly insane water dps is a factor

ludmilla and quency are great but they only go so far sadly

with that said, quency's burst is distributed damage, so that's cause for me to potentially switch my teams around a bit for stage 7

my current comps look something like this from memory

squad 1: liter/pirates/rrh/rh
squad 2: rouge/blanc/cindy/xmaiden/someone else
squad 3: dkw/sbs/alice i'm off memory so i can't remember my later squads right now but
squad 4: tia/naga/xlud/qeq/fifth
squad 5: some stupid ass shotgun comp that doesn't have a lot of good pieces

you'd figure the pirates woudl be better off with sbs in a vacuum but rapi is far more invested right now and i figure the reload buffing would be beneficial to her

but my planned changes look something like this

squad 1: drop red hood for qeq
squad 2: idek, cindy feels awful for this fight
and the rest played by ear

oh also rapi's explosions destroy the mobs too

at least i think it's her explosions

Yknow I've realised, part of why SW suffers might just be that we haven't gotten a quantum main DPS in a while

We've got a million lightning DPS, but no quantum

And the one we're getting probably doesn't work in mono quantum

yeah but it isnt just that. its that her buffs/debuffs were quickly overshadowed by niches

silver wolf works great when you need a more generalist debuffing or raw debuffing

she does work well for acheron (albeit worse than jiaoqiu and can be outclassed in some content by pela)

but the insane level of buffs that pure buffers have far outweigh her debuffs

though i think u can easily tweak wolf to be more than capable base kit

changing her skill and ult to be purely aoe would help push her

maybe have her be able to select the exact implant too

cannot be overstated how bad cindy feels in this specific fight

i'm simultaneously looking forward to and dreading her inevitable side story that will "redeem" her (or at least start to do so in a big way)

i really, really dislike manipulative characters like her and the fact she's done some actually unforgivable shit and not "just a prank bro"-tier manipulation makes it all worse

i do think they can cook up a good redemption arc for her, i'm just not sure i can ever actually like her (which i can separate from whether i think she's a good character or not)

also a big bummer that they changed her VA, amalee was her original VA and she absolutely nailed it

(and that's not a temp VA change due to the strike, amalee stepped away permanently from voicing viper)

Cindy/Rouge/Winter Ludmilla/Noir/Ice Maiden - I think like 250m? Did a lot better than bottom but not great
D Wife/Maid Mast/Maid Anchor/SBS/Classic Alice - I think did really well? I wasn't really keeping track of numbers after the first two teams
Crown/Liter/RRH/Quency EQ/Naga - big winner, I think did over 800m

i'm aware of the supp damage synergy but my quency isn't invested at all and i wanted every bit of distributed damage on her bc fuck these mobs

mine was 4/4/4 with a level 1 doll and nothing but level 0 t9m gear and was pretty consistently one-shotting the mobs with burst

you gotta time the burst properly though, right as they come on-screen

if you're too late the turret comes up and heals them and then rip you
