and the game is so horny so you figure it'd take the azur lane route and monetize cosmetics like crazy

but no, there's no skins in the game, they're all alts that you pull on gacha and automatically get all the features (like lobby screen stuff) on your first pull of them

hell it's one of the only gacha i've played where i have no urge to buy monthly currency/battle passes

because

1. the "paid" tier for battle passes is purchasable with gems, not money
2. the game is so generous with pulls + gems that you don't even need the extra currency

as far as rates go, 4% for SSRs on pulls is way up there. the only gacha i know that's above that is azur lane at 7%

its pity system is also good

on a per-banner basis it's not quite as good as hoyo pity, but overall i think i prefer the spark system that carries from banner to banner to be used whenever you want

UBW is my personal favorite route, because of the Shirou/Archer dynamic and how Rin and Shirou encourage each other to be more humane. But HF also has some great plot twists and unique interactions that the other routes don't have. While I don't prefer Shirou giving up his dream, it's a strong alternative that I could root for
