klaudia functions as a budget singer, while ryza is generic fire magic dps where gariyu exists
in terms of base kits, empel's is the most interesting with magic zone on a skill as well as the ability to invert enemy buffs
on the other hand, some of the core items are absolutely absurd and all three of the collab characters can use them
so they're all busted by proxy
klaudia gets a small bonus by having partywide mental focus on a skill too, i guess
but yeah for how average looking their default kits are, the core items more than make up for it
like some of these effects wouldn't be out of place on a new age gacha character
for example, hero's will
it has a reasonable 30% power/int debuff, and also casually inflicts delayed
which i don't think exists anywhere else in the game for playables
preemptive shit will ignore that, but otherwise it's an incredibly powerful turn fixing skill
aight, now that i'm in game i can actually check the effects of these
elixir: flat 50% heal partywide, as well as remove all statuses and apply 3 time status immunity
hero's will: preemptive, power/int/speed/type resistance -30% 3 turns, inflict delayed
only downside is it's single target, which isn't as great in aoe contexts but still
astronomical hourglass: take everything hero's will does, reverse it into partywide buffs (including giving party preemptive attacks)
there are other core items but most of them are just generic damage options or buff/debuff/heal options that aren't as good as the above
