this particular boss will have white cancel circles come up early on that, if killed, cause you to get instawiped
so it's often best to just quickly get to final stage -> kill white cancel ring -> get instawiped, it saves like 2 mins per attempt lol

no that's absolutely true about nikke dupes, they're very small stat increases when taken in a vacuum
fwiw i've said before i actually like that about nikke; i hate games where you unlock a character but they're borderline unusable until you also get a few dupes of that character
but there are several specific cases where dupes are important
you need 5 MLB'd SSRs to get beyond level 160 in your synchro device, so that requires dupes

and it feels like i'm losing more of my sp arena runs due to shit that i don't think is particularly well explained in game
and the pvp guides that do exist are kinda hard for me to make heads or tails of, never mind that i'm missing a bunch of the units they recommend

i'd be lying if i said i understood PvP either, but the real TL;DR is that usually whoever bursts first wins, and RLs are best for bursting
but tbh PvP will remain a crapshoot until you get a more complete roster and spread out skill/gear/doll upgrades more
because combat power is really the biggest advantage you can have, so it's usually optimal to use your most powerful units even if they may not strictly be PvP-oriented
i wouldn't worry about PvP too much (i don't), ultimately it's just something i check for a minute or two each day to get some free resources
once you get some decent team comps you can probably work your way up the SP arena rankings to get decent gem rewards (i almost always end up in the 2k gem bracket now which is nice)
