Really like Lilith and Erina's dynamic in Guardian Tales.

Haven't seen Old X Young pairing between 2 girls much. Well, they aren't romantically involved but like they might as well be with all their dialogue about each other.

Lilith is technically the older one being the Demon Queen, but acts like a brat and tries to dump the paper work to others mainly Erina. Tho, she does lock in to ruler mode like during the terrorist attack and the war. Their personalities mesh well and the brat boss and older guardian dynamic they got going on is great.

And most times old women in media who can fight either look young or transform to a young form or super old baba style, whereas Old men are more diverse. Erina kinda breaks that with her being a regal grandma which is fitting her being the Hero. Tho, she does fall into the trope because she has a Younger version transformation from when she was at her Peak.

Young Erina is the only issue I have with them, tbh. Like, I get that it's meant to be her as back when she was a generic Young Hero, but Grandma Erina is so regal, it feels like a downgrade, instead of a powerup when she transforms.

unfortunate part of being a numbers game

in genshin maybe it turns your minute clear to minute and 20 seconds

same in zenless but zenless has even more skill expression so u can even just ignore the system entirely

hsr actually just has the hard stat reqs

bc theres nothing more u can do

i hope zzz keeps this difficulty throughout tho game feels very good at providing challenge and even with suboptimal or imperfect builds characters just function extremely well if you learn them

or its explained but it isnt easy in the heat of combat

nicole has a special shot mode you get by doing a 360 spin on your directional input while holding her skill

sokaku has specific timings to get her ice attacks online

lycaon has a special hold attack state that you can buffer like a fighting game to get better stun uptime

the "mage" characters like rina, billy, grace, and zhu yuan can dodge without dodging thanks to their shooting stance

but the timing is hard

anton and corin have infinites

infinite uptime on their dps and potentially infinite stun on some bosses

neko and piper piper are the most straightforward overall? ellen also has potential infinite uptime on her ice attacks with dash cancels

learning to parry swap as well has a curve

its not the most difficult but if you understand enemy patterns and anims and your own characters you can do it consistently

ik for the anomaly team of piper nicole grace, ppl have learned to have all 3 characters on screen at a time to get max uptime on anomaly buildup
