confirmation that you can double dip on feinne's shadow now

which bumps up my 255 estimate from december to october

basically the number of ad runs i get per week, that can give feinne shadow, just went up by 50%

you get 1 key every 6 hours, so over the course of a week, assuming you buy all the tsubura gem keys and don't get keys from watching ads on the mobile version or buy them with premium currency, you get 38 of each color

that translates to 38 red key runs and 19 green key runs per week

(there is a cap so i assume i don't overcap)

anyway, light/shadow gains are 20% in 1x red key dungeons and 25% in 2x green key dungeons (they're 10% in 1x green key dungeons but that number is so low and 1x green key dungeons don't really give anything useful, so i ignore them)

so assuming average gains, i can expect around 7-8 shadow per week from running beast king's castle and an extra 4-5 from running jasmond

so i'd average somewhere between 11-13 per week long term

right now my feinne is at 89 shadow

and the cap is 255

dammit my mental math sucks

but i think that's 166 shadow i need?

so i'll probably need anywhere from 12-15 weeks, 12 if i'm lucky, 15 if i'm not

i'd realistically expect it to be more like 14 weeks, but we'll see

way better first impression than wuwa for me

i have a lot of praise but a few minor complaints

big thing is that the ui can be confusing outside of combat

but i still did get that initial reaction that i immediately disliked some designs really hard vs really really liked others

i also bounced off nekomiya but her gameplay is very fun and she was written decently

I think the character I dislike most from what I’ve seen so far is the other mc mainly because they feel unneeded right now, but aside from them probably Nichole as her character is insanely generic

Other than those two I’ve enjoyed the other characters I’ve seen

nicole is pretty great imo. shes tropey but not in a bad way. they dont even really waste time trying to convince u shes one way or the other

also i like that each sibling is very present and active

both being phaethon and both contributing to it is nice

refreshing of hoyo to not retread genshin or hsr protags

belle and wise talk. a lot. which can be a bit of a turn off if you dont love either of them. but so far, they have enough mystery and characterization to carry the story forward.

also i like this persona-like aspect of the game where u can hang out with characters more actively and see them around town even in alternate outfits like ellen

For me with the protags it feels like they split one good character into two just kind of rambling ones

we'll see how it goes along. i enjoyed the dual protag aspect though

a big thing with genshin is that you do sometimes feel very alone in the world when its just you and paimon (story-wise) and thats intentional but it wouldnt work for a game like zzz where you are working 2 jobs and living double lives

and again, biiig ups to the soundtrack it just sounds fantastic

but he's in the fp pool so he's easy enough to np5 over time

the most interesting part of his kit is his s2, which is a huge crit buff for a turn that also removes debuffs

his np is aoe quick and inflicts various effects based on the current field

and his s3 has an 80% chance independently of activating a bunch of different fields
