similarly, without kaveh, its unlikely the world would know of haitham as he would further retreat into his own shell

in this case it's more like you don't have to spend 16k on her

so still saved 8k currency but she does need her 4 crystals

and at 2k each that comes out to 8k total

so hope you get some dupes to save on those costs

or you can get them from meta shop after the evnet i guess, but you very likely don't have the currency required for that yet

took a few runs to actually learn the fight, then had to struggle through execution rng bc it kept hitting galliard too soon

so by my count that makes all superboss content currently in the game beaten

so there are two main problems with ice fields master

1. the environment around you constantly tries to freeze you at the end of the turn, and if you hit ice fields master with an element other than earth, you lose 100% status resistance

2. after each of its hp bars, it automatically kills someone on the frontline, with no way currently in the game to prevent it

(it has 6 total hp bars)

so that means hold ground won't work, any form of redirection won't work since the targeting is purely random, iphi's blood contract won't work

...in other words to mitigate rng you need to bring ways to make yourself "immune" to freeze, multiple sources of revive, and ways to make yourself actually immune to freeze

fake immunity to freeze is handled through gear on everyone except galliard, revive is native to mariel's kit, i have tetra, and cerrine holds the revive grasta for 3 total, and actual immunity is also on mariel

a third, i guess more "minor" but still relevant problem, is a few turns into its rotation, it casts a pretty annoying buff, so it also becomes nice to have a way to remove buffs

cerrine holds the banish badge to get the banish skill for that purpose

other than that it's not horrible, but dealing with the execution mechanics is pretty tedious sometimes

even in this run it did hit galliard once, but it was at a point in the fight where i could salvage the fight with tetra

when galliard dies, it makes it a lot harder to keep everyone else alive, and so i ended up in a situation where galliard was alive but everyone else was dead

but now i don't have to worry about that ever again, or replicate that 15 hour robot clear : ^)

It's still not too much of a difference, Aeon with stacks and ATK% body/orb still gives higher break effect than sig; the sig's power is all in the damage bonus from its passive

where characters like jingliu and acheron and dan il dont have too big a deal about it bc they can just ignore the toughness and just chip the hp with their huge dps, sam will need those bars broken or else ur dps is gone

penacony has been great so far despite my grievances with some elements of 2.2

and genshin's other stories have been really good for the most part sticking only to 1 region and more interpersonal conflicts within the region

even if some higher stakes end up being at play

Working there was kind of interesting. I wouldn't say that everyone was actively trying to make a bad game. It felt more like everyone was cheerfully mildly trying to make a game with the same amount of enthusiasm trying to get a good score on a school project instead of trying to win a national competition.

It was a nice place to work at and get paid but you're not getting any real hardcore passion or truly impressive games out of it

It was kind of a silly reason in hindsight

My friend offered me a role at my old uni to work as his project assistant there, same amount of pay as the game dev job but much much less work, and also closer to home. I took it cuz I wanted to use the time to make a game project I wanted to make for a while

...I still have not finished it cuz I got lazy

I actually started working on it again recently so we'll see how far I get along with it
