i will say that as a whole, fontaine's story was very good

so if they did rewrite, it was likely rewritten very early

here's what a typical 14-4 boss run looks like for me

agir shows the lowest damage but she's also the tank so it's fine

her damage isn't literally zero, at least

still working on properly timing the subs

also unzen and hindenburg show themselves to be frontline dps monsters, bc ofc they are

hindenburg ain't even 125 yet so she has an even bigger damage penalty here too

lmao i just realized i accidentally removed laffey's toolbox

so i've done these first two runs with laffey only holding the hedgehog

which is kinda wild

bc she's been in absolutely no danger at all

i mean if that's how it's gonna be, i'll just meme and put an oxytorp on her

i don't recommend doing that for most purposes, but the combination of laffey's innate survivability and unicorn+aquila make it possible

most tanks would probably have a harder time surviving in this context

i did have a run where i had to reset the boss fight, though

got a bit unlucky and took way too much damage on the vanguard before mogami spawned

battleship flag is typically good since that's the best position for intercepting suicide boats

some battleships specifically want flag if their barrages are best positioned there, but that's not an issue for your fleets at this second

for your mob fleet, having both uni retro and shouhou is redundant

they're both healers

main healers, at that

there are later chapters where you may want multiple ways to heal, but usually thatw ould just be main healer+secondary healer, rather than 2 main healers

bottom line is you don't want to give up too much damage

in case it wasn't obvious, uni retro is the better one of the two

retrofitting an ssr into a ur is a lot more expensive than in any of the other rarities

so even if you do get her, getting her retro might be prohibitively expensive, depending on what you have

i'm in the "go for yuudachi" camp bc i think she's a very good ship once retrofitted, esp for players who have fewer other options

but someone else might prefer to hold off, since you need a big resource investment anyway

honestly, there's a point where you'll probably stay capped for a variety of reasons

you might not play modes that cost oil that much once you reach a certain point

you're definitely not at that point tho

also your mailbox is essentially a pseudo-infinite oil storage over time anyway

also if it wasn't clear, the game sorta lies about your caps

there's a real hard cap that's a lot higher than your visible soft cap

at soft cap, you just can't claim from your merchant/oil factory

but you can still claim from other sources

iirc coin hard cap is 300k, and oil cap is 25k

Ye just doing rough head math Sparkle is probably not it, <25 AV per E means it only matters if you do 2 Es or 4 (since there's roughly 50 AV between each action), and you're not doing 4 Es without some psychotic speed stats

And I wouldnt be surprised if RM is less mandatory now

Shes still insane obviously but with the speed you have youll usually get to act during their break anyway, and rebreaking still gives good damage

she has own superbreak now in her kit so if u dont want to play with hmc u can now

it does work with HMC superbreak tho

since its a indepent dmg source

her atk scaling into breakeffect thing has no upper limit anymore and starts at 1600 atk instead of 2400 atk but she lost a good ammount of Respen

still overall easier to build

ah and more speed on ult

u can realistically hit like 210 speed with her to have 4 turns in ult instead of 3
