TBH, I've still been confused on gear, they all seem to just be random names, and I only pay attention to their colors like blue, purple and yellow.

if you're not doing much gear lab or research gear, then a lot of your good accessible gear is actually purple
there's a bunch of random gold gear that's kind of a trap
core shop obv has shells for your battleships, and carriers generally want catapults (until they don't), but most frontliners are fine with a repair toolbox (which is purple), for example
and one of the best dive bombers in the game is the purple helldiver (its better alternatives are all event limited or in research/gear lab)
i typically recommend people refer to the ectl for gear recommendations, making sure to read the descriptions in doing so, since gear is contextual

navia wants the busted teammates like most everyone else such as bennett furina xingqiu fischl xiangling and beidou

raiden pros: she can hypercarry, drive bursts, or be an off-fielder or on-fielder in dendro teams
navia pros: she can also hypercarry, she can drive (worse element), she quickswaps
navia cannot drive dendro really. like yea sure she could but its not her strong suit and has no inherent synergy for that
raiden has a more relevant element though and has a few more options on what u can do with her

usually not a big deal for most ppl but it is worth bringing up
raiden needs to go to level 90
shes an atk scaling dps and normally, u can leave those at 80/90
90/90 if u really like them
but raiden isnt gonna compromise

then clearing the a and b nodes should be quite within your range
c and d function as hard modes and would be out of your range
but you can clear the event with just the a and b nodes (you just get less event currency per run)
in order to get a copy of laffey ii, you need to buy her from the event shop with a voucher currency that you get through a few different ways
there are some missions that give them, the minigame gives some, the sp node also drops them (but that one's out of your range)
if you were to start today, you should have plenty of time to get the 200 you need to buy a copy
