there are maps yes, but most of them probably aren't good to run overall
uhh for now just keep opening gold and purple tech boxes
you'll probably be wanting to run good purple pieces until you find better gold pieces to replace them
for an example of a good gold equipment, the gun currently in the event shop is one of the better cl guns in the game
the core data shop has white and black shells you'll want to eventually run on your battleships
if you've started research, some of the gear from that is pretty good
but otherwise, you'll be mostly wanting to run purple equipment until you get the better stuff
good purple equipment where possible
for example, the purple version of this gun is one of the best he battleship guns in the game

@turbid olive here's an example of laffey with decent (not great) gear; you should have access to most of it by now
most destroyers are gonna want toolboxes for extra survivability (at level 10 they each give +500 hp)
the other gear is all fairly easily upgraded over time
as for her augment, that's a longer term goal; gold augments take a lot of coin to do, along with the other augment resources
for purple filler gear like the ones in my screen, i don't recommend going past level 6
since level 7 and up take purple plates and you probably want those for gear you want to use longer term
and here's laffey in some endgame gear
the quad mags can be pulled from german tech boxes or made in gear lab; the goldburn is from the gridman collab so you probably have it; if not, throw in a substitute aux with good hp stat
the rainbow gun is gear lab, as is the aa gun
you'll note she still has the toolbox
the toolbox is one of the best auxes in the game for your frontliners
the effect won't stack if you run 2, but you still get the hp, so running 2 gives your frontliners 1000 extra hp
this is great for destroyers, who usually have low hp

if you're having any trouble surviving at all, you do not run oxytorp
for example, if this were a world 14 build, she'd be running either 2x toolbox or 1 toolbox and hedgehog/depth charge
oh right i should probably note some of the ijn destroyers want to run blue guns instead of real guns because they fire faster, at the expense of all else
this applies to shimakaze, ayanami, kawakaze, kazagumo, and probably a couple others i'm struggling to remember bc i don't use them
their gunnery is dogshit anyway, but they have great barrages or other great effects based on how often they fire their guns
so you just pop a single 76 on them

i'd probably do hood's first, though
hood will probably end up being a mainstay flagship in your fleets for a long time to come
she's really only outdone by rainbow ships, none of which you have
weird that i'd be saying that about hood in 2023 but her augment is excellent
ignoring augments on ships you like using just because, then for gameplay, the augments i'd craft/use first for the non-collabs would be hood's, saratoga's, and kawakaze's

for the collab ships, basically all the gridman ships want theirs, but if you don't have them, then it's not like they're unusable
but again, i'd recommend getting your fleets established first before doing augments
to craft a new gold augment from scratch and get it to level 10 costs a combined 21k coins, not to mention the augment exp resources you'd need to use
for comparison, an mlb gold ship costs a combined 14k, with 10k of that coming from the last one

- Jingliu is a decent DPS (Ice, skill point usage is decent, not as efficient as Blade but more efficient than Seele)
- Topaz seems decent but I haven't looked too hard (Fire, pairs very well with follow up attackers, Clara stonks)

hunt could be good theres a 2 star blessing that can give a skillpoint back aswell as an errorcode that makes you regenerate 2 skillpoints on basic attack but thats doesnt come up every run
otherwise u can probably try destruction to maximize dmg
it isnt probably as counter productive as it is with blade since destruction gives a lot of shields
technically u can make any path work if u stack enough of it
only thing i think u need to be fast is like the deer boss because that phase 3 aoe attack does like 5k dmg
