you can do some quick math to see the multiplicative on ocean flyer is better, even before accounting for the extra atk
dive to blue: 1.1 ^2 = 1.21
ocean flyer: 1.08 x 1.15 = 1.242

So something really funny has happened in another gacha game
So the idolmaster cinderella girls, the cygames branch of idolmaster, holds a yearly vote to decide which character becomes "cinderella girl" for the year
Now the cinderella girls branch is known to have a gigantic cast, with a substantial amount of unvoiced idols and this year the vote was a bit different
This year each idol was put into one of 4 groups where people can vote for the idols
Top 5 will go on to the finals and any unvoiced idol in the top 5 will get a voice, naturally this meant that there would almost always be at least 1 unvoiced idol in the top 5 votes of each group to try and get them a voice but the important part comes next, those who were in the top 10 but not the top 5 would be sent into playoffs where they get one final chance to get into the finals
However something weird was, despite getting to the finals, if the playoff winner was unvoiced they still wouldnt be guaranteed to get a voice, so while the winner, Eve Santaclaus, (yes thats her name) won the playoffs she wasnt guaranteed a voice
However, there was one way for her to guarantee getting a voice
And that was to get top 5 in the finals as the top 5 get a song together
Naturally people were attempting to get her there but the favourite to win this year was "Shiki Ichinose" so people weren't really expecting her to get much higher than top 5
But people may have course corrected a bit... too hard
In an attempt to get her to top 5 to get her a voice she ended up overshotting and ended up getting first by a pretty significent margin

The girl crowned "cinderella girl" was an unvoiced idol and no one could have seen this coming lol
