Mostly cause of Sheer Force and learning a lot of Special Attack moves.

1. the alternatives to teh special moves have lower bp

thunder punch, fire punch, ice punch, poison jab, eq (not sheer force boosted)

2. going special makes it less susceptible to burn and intimidate, among other things

3. while its special atk is lower than its atk, it's not so much lower that sheer force doesn't make up for the difference

and ofc, investment will give it a respectable spatk anyway

4. and all of that is before life orb, but that's not unique
