Yeah, that'd be alright. But it really does call into question how many poison types tend to be very aggressive with their poison.
I think the only ones that use it as an actual defense are like, Nidoran, Weedle and a lot of grass types. Most other things are really mean with the poison. (Ok, well there is a lot more, but offensive poison still outweighs defensive)
Poison would be fitting, cause humanity attacked it due to it looking like a menace, but it really just wanted to be left alone
