Lopunny has Quick Attack, and Mach Punch.

I noticed they work very much like rushdown moves: Flash step close to the opponent to beat faces in. And I think maybe I can do something with that.

P sure assuming Lucario can still learn Extremespeed, it and Bullet Punch would be cool too.

And I would say "Oh hey, Machamp and Mach Punch!". Except I think the devs are still adamant on not giving Machamp the Mach Punch move, even though it sounds like something it could use. Not to mention that I think I'm out of luck with finding a Machamp on my own

Was there any good reason to just leave it at Bullet Punch?

My trick was that swapping in and out will always send in shield mode i believe

So I just had it use swords dance in shield mode then spammed atk moves to make it change and swapped it out to have it in def later

Maybe its a hold over from when Physical/Special were split by type and all Ghost moves were physical moves

Ehh, probably. Some of them did require getting close, like say, Lick or Astonish

...On second thought, why is Astonish a physical move? It involves just, jumpscaring the enemy, so maybe it could have been a special move

Most of the ghost moves fill a mechanical requirement in za

Phantom force is the "removes ur hitbox move"

Shadow sneak is the quick low DMG move

Shadow ball/claw are the decent options but we don't have any of the great ones
