So, I actually had to go see what the splicers do
You pick a target and fusion material, and then out of the two, it factors in the target's level, IVs, Nature, 1st type and Passive ability, and then the fusion material's second typing, or its only type, ability and if it has one, a Tera type.
Out of this, the base stats are averaged, moves, learnsets and items they are holding are combined, and if they're both shinies, you add together the luck bonus they offer
...And that is just so much to work through that I feel like the run's come to a screeching halt from me deciding what to even do with it
I did find a fusion tool that can help, so I'll see if I can come up with anything for the above
I probably could fuse both Annihilape and Blaziken together for a combination that's barely any different stat wise but grants the result a loooot of moves
Also was debating getting rid of Muk or Ledian, so there's that

And usually getting them is slow-going, unless you are constantly catching, which is a risky thing to do, and you may not even see anything to catch that you truly want
Also, pretty sure legendaries are near-impossible to keep improving. But then again, I don't think there's much to improve with them. Zacian's passive is Unnerve... which in the context of this game is very good, but hardly a winner when you got crap like Charmander having Beast Boost as a passive
