i have started a new game + run of rad red for the 4.1 update, gonna try out a bunch of different mons from my last run here

this is what i have so far pre-brock

(yes i have 2 starters, paldea egg was really kind to me and gave me quaxly after a couple resets off of mons i didn't want to use right now)

once i'm able to evolve nymble, i'll also be trying out lokix

so it has decent coverage with technician

to say nothing of fury cutter

so it should be solid for a good stretch of the early game

Sometimes i wish GF would make an NPC or facility that's right in front of the Pokemon League that lets you level your mons up to the lowest level mon of the first E4 member

During the playthrough itself i don't mind the grind since that's usually just battling every trainer i see and i'm still progressing to the next objective or destination

But once i reach the E4 there's literally nothing else to progress towards and they almost always fail to put enough trainers to grind to the appropriate level for the League itself

Not to mention that half the times i've been saving up powerful mons in the box exclusively for the end game that i need to grind up from scratch

Probably 60% of my nuzlocke runs stop in front of the E4 just cuz of how boring the remaining grind is
